Has this ever happened to anyone
You take off and you see the orange arrow pointing to an enemy but when you check you see something like this

Them you fly over there and it looks like this

Then you look down and the names are there but there's no plane, soldier, tank

They may be, but it's something new too. They are not just names of planes spawned on carriers or bases that show through the mountains. I've seen the same phenomenon at least twice now.

I first hunted one of these "floating names" in the wilderness behind the mountains north of northern base, and in the opposite direction of the bases and carriers.

It's some kind of echo. Since there was no base or carrier in that direction I thought it had to be a walking soldier. There was only the name, seemingly at ground level, and no distinction or anything else.

I flew around it for quite some time, and quite close to the ground too, and finally I asked "where are you nnn?". After some time he answered "east carrier". So he was in the opposite direction and half a map away!

Google "Skyfish" aka "Rods" thats what they look like.

Mmmm short answer that's where Z stuck the soldier on carrier stuff. That's also why they are invisible on carrier.
