Hi everyone,

During the search for my next phone, T-Mobile added the Samsung Galaxy S3 to their lineup. Nice big screen, 4.8" 1280x720. Is anyone using this phone with Dogfight? In particular, I'm interested in the button just below the bottom of the screen. My HTC G2 has a button (with mouse sensing - I think the S3 is just a Home Button), which makes a nice machine gun Fire button using my right thumb. I'm wondering if Dogfight picks up presses of the S3's button as the same Fire command.

Given everything else that I use the phone for, it's kinda sad that how a phone plays Dogfight is influencing my search. But it does show how cool the game is.

I play on Samsung Galaxy S2 (Skyrocket) and love it, even though it gets a little warn after a few marathon dogfights. My wife has the Galaxy Note with the 5.3" screen but she won't let me dogfight on it that S3 looks awesome though, wonder if it would be much different than playing on my 4.5" screen.

Lol, does the note fit in her pocket? Its huge!

It is as big as a mobile device can be and still fit in a pocket comfortably (maybe not in "designer" jeans) but Levi's and Car-hart's are compatible.

yep, the button should be picked up as a fire button. All androids with that button should "fire".

None of the physical buttons on my Samsung S2, nor the ones on my Samsung Galaxy Tab, nor those on my wife's Samsung Note work as firing buttons.

Are you still around Z? The response area for the on-screen firing button is unnecessarily small!! A MUCH larger touch area would be handy, and there seems to be nothing else in that area of the screen that should interfere with it.

*But the button needs to stay the same size. The response area just needs to be larger.
