Some top players have taken unpronounceable nonsense names, a few others have chosen invisible names to gain an extra advantage. But who are they really?
Here's a list of the anonymous ones in the top 100:

#3: d,,!,,d
#7: §
#22: . . . .
#52: ¥¥
#93: x

It would be nice to know who these five are, that is what they used to call themselves before they chose to become invisible/anonymous. Then one could address them by their former names, which were more easily typable. Does anyone know?

That's what I call em, damn ! damn is still visible tho. Stainless steel tells people to look at the map to find him if they complain they can't see him but you can't shoot a plane by looking at the map in a turning fight !. All are good pilots no need for the unfair advantage I say .

The first is ddubaj. The guy named x, which is actually unicode you can only do from a computer, somits obviously an intentional cheat, i have no idea who the others are.

I dont think it makes ddubaj any harder to kill. If anything, easier, cuz noobs cant hit him so he loses skill.

Lol, i do hate this tho. It really started once u became able to change ur name. I actually madean account named :\\//: (its a target) just to prove not all the aces think that way.

I just checked the top 100 list, and i recognise 79 people. I used to know all 100. I know moat of em, probably. They just have new freaking names. :angry:

i think everybody should bring them down, even they are blue..closely, i had witnessed one, i dont remember who he was but a ranked pilot, he brought down X(#93), when X said wtf, he said "i cant recognise whether you r blue or red"..after a while again..i think this idea is clever, everbody should bring them down at least once (not more not to banned of traiting), if everyone does it, they will be tired of that in a while i believe..at least they know they are not liked..

Lol, like ive suggested before, change their names to something like the pornstar names we cmplain about. Then they get banned for making us mad. Then we arent mad anymore. ;) lol, that might be harsh, but I love the idea of doubling their size, making them glow yellow, and be red to all. :P

Lol the ¥¥ guy is realy nice. Now he is not the best thoue lol. He just kinda flys along and dose not care if he is being killd or not. He told me he changed his name because he was sick of invisibil names so he just got one him self.

The ones with the invisible names or hard to see names, it just shows what kind of person they are. I would feel bad knowing all my kills we're from cheating. But it doesn't seem to bother them. Sad

The invisible players are very hard to see on my 3 1/2" screen especially on the games with anow in it.....if they come on i just quit and find another game..

i alwase look to finde there rank or see what color they are on the radar or i pull up a bit to get them out of the view screen and see if there is a red arrow pointing at them. It alwase seems to help me out. I youse there rank as a target because it is right above there plane so you aim just a bit below it and you score hits and a kill.

I think if anyone is going to be invisible it should be the new guys not the aces. But these invisible guys are not really aces. Dogfight aces DO NOT CHEAT no matter what. not even a little and that's the bottom line

I have the same feelings but "alls fair in love and war"

They are just exploiting all their resources to their advantage. Not very social but there is no rule against it.

Alls fair in love and war. Yes, but its a game and ppl come here to have fun. If noobs come in to a game with invisible players they aren't going to stay. They probably will fly straight down crash and leave the game. Not really fun for them

I have learned how to fight them. actually they are the ones I go after first. so the only advantage they have is over the new guys

I agree. An ace plays fair, and with honor. There may be no rule against it, but remember how ### used to be invisible? Its visible now, i belive. Thats proof z doesnt like no namers either.:)
