If you are coming to Newport, RI this summer for "Tall Ships", America's Cup Championship Races, music festivals, or just to visit, send me a note and I'll let you know how to contact me. I'm sort of the "Unofficial Mayor" here and might be able to help you find a place to stay, get a few free tickets for boat cruises, etc. If you've never been to Newport, or don't know where it is go to my profile and click on location. As you will see..lots of water. I live 2 mins. away from the harbor and work right on it. Save some $$ and contact me. It be fun to meet some of you.

Hi Flymajic. I'm from Erie, Pa. Our tall ship Niagara will be there. It's in Cleveland now getting its hull greased(Joke)!

Yikes! Just checked the mileage! 7 1/2 hour drive from Baltimore. I'll have to fly. I'll check.
Baltimore has the Constellation it's a beautiful tall ship.

I just made a phone call and maybe a ride on her is in the works. I run the boat hardware store here in town, so I know a lot of the boat people. I'm too smart to own a boat, because most of the time all you have to do is ask for a ride. I'll do my best for you.

You should join us if you can! I've lived here over 20 years and it's a really small town. It's 1 of life's greatest pleasures to do good things for good people.

Lol, id come if i could, but im only 14, and i doubt my parents would be up for a trip across the country from oregon to see a friend from a video game.

Tell them it's a second honeymoon trip. I would never have guessed you're only 14. You can and should be very proud of yourself because you show more common sense and maturity than many people older than you on here. They've done a great job raising you, And again they should be very proud of you.

 Haha, thanks. My friends say I sound a lot more mature online when I have time to check over what I say. I'm not really immature in real life, just not *always* quite as polite as i sound here. Depends on my mood, i guess. If Im thinking clear enough to really think before i say, i can be more like this. If not, i do some pretty stupid stuff. See you in the skies!

Lol, i know one junior in high school who uses his crossbow to go in the street and shoot firecrackers at passing cars.
tried it once. The guy in the car chased me.... Had to duck down an alley to get away from him. Lol, looked like something out of an archie comic. Jumpin fences, etc. Lol, he was lucky there wasnt anyone else on the street. Chasin kids tends to get cops called. Learned not to shoot at cars after that. SERIOUS lack of judgement. Oh well. Guys I'm much older than both of you put together but yet I still doing stupid things and silly things too! You just have to learn when you can do them. Class is something you learn, respect is something you earn. You both are doing quite well then both of those departments. Keep it up! and calvin, if Slenderman gives you this new responsibility, you've got a lot of respect in my book. He doesn't strike me as being a fool!

Oregon is a beautiful state Calvin (I miss the west) and Kevy is right stay 14-15
. I never would have guessed you were that young, you either bomer. I'm startin to think about a trip to RI, sounds fun never been there. |

Hey Dent. This place is like no other that I've been to in tne U.S. If you like speed google America's Cup Championship Series and check out the new boats. Formula 1 cars on the water! Super fast!
