I just watched sky Davis own some of the best turn flight fighters in the game.....Chan the master...and some others.....I watched him take down three planes that were turning with him but he just picked them off one by one.....this guy is unreal maybe not as good as Wat up dogfight straight on but in turn fighting he should be feared.....he is IN MY OPINION the best the games got to offer....I would be honored to be on his team anytime....

Well I am a little partial when I say Sky is the best and he is but, I do believe the " on any given day" theory. All the top 100 and more have seemed invincible at one time or another to me. He is just consistently Awsome! Tgmulan also belongs to that pack.

From Seattle... Among the Top100, the average Kill:Death ratio is 2.3 to 1 (for the nerds the StdDev is 1.0). It gets a little better the more you play, but not much after you get the better planes. (I'm ranked #232 after 350 games and been creeping up from 1:1 to 1.7:1 - if I don't get a job soon I'll hit the Top100 at about #70 at that level). Lots of great players are below that average.

But five players are way above the rest in K:D ratios over 5:1 (for the nerds that is three StdDevn's) with mind-blowing and supernatural kill ability: top is SkyDavis, @Morgan, hawk Chou, *420*, and Unclepike

Next crazy awesome killers with K:D of over 3:1 are Calle, mbizzi, Wat--up--dogfight, and tgmulan FU

And next and deadly for only 400 games played: The Vampire.

Yes the numbers do say a lot. But they also don't tell the whole story. Some pilots stay in the fight even when the odds are against them. Taking heavy losses in an uneven matchup just to have some competition. Others will check who's on their side and who they are facing and leave if it doesn't suit them. Some pilots stay by their bases and constantly repair and rearm giving them better stats. Some spawn kill their way to positive numbers. Until as sky puts it you face megalatron shark wats up or sky or chan or 430 or tgmulan or mbizzi or sgt rock or b Strachan ect ect. And come out on top consistently we aren't even in their league. Some day a few of us will get there and even surpass their numbers but to be better pilots who can say unless you beat them in the game. And no ones counting while their flying.

I totally agree. I only quit if I enter against overwhelming odds and in a near-complete game but even then I sometimes love throwing myself in even if repeatedly killed - especially if I can tie up the aces a bit and open up opportunities for lower ranks. Those are some of my most fun games and if I tag the God Aces one in three times its a good day. And least fun - and when I have quit in disgust - is when some super ace is spawning killing me over and over for no mission purpose.

Yea Seattle you are always in the fray! You someday will be up there with the best. I'm just concerned if everyone just looks at the numbers the "easy" way to the top is to abuse the system by spawn killing and flying for points instead of winning missions. That takes the fun out for those who just want to complete the mission and go on to the next not drag it out because they have control of the situation and are scoring big. They leave the last bomb undropped until they lose the advantage then end it or just leave. That's why I think a lot of pilots quit out of the zeppelin mission, not enough time to weave a web.

what? anyway, i only quit a game if its boring, i have to go, the odds are too much against the other side and i want to even it up, (sorry if i'm bragging, not trying to.), if its the very end of the game, i'm looking for more of a challenge, or i just dont feel like playing that type of game right now. if its a decent game and the teams are fair or against me, i'll stay until its over or i have to leave. dont quit a good game.

That's because your one of the pilots that make them run for the hills . So you wouldn't notice it to much. I on the other hand don't scare to many people.

Hi Bob. If you look at top of gossip you will see a sticky that says game and forum utilities by Slenderman. He has made a nice reference to all the dogfight links including the topplayers link which shows the top 100 and a search box where you can look up your stats. Have fun!

In one of my early flights (aspirant) you let me off the field (I had been spawned killed many times in a row by another) and gave me some tips on avoidance. Let me fly with you (was fun to fly with the enemy) and then, like a good instructor, eventually shot me down as a part of the lesson. Boosted the game for me. I do look for you at times to return the favor, but I am afraid you are quite safe (for now ) with my slowly growing skills.
