I am far from a tech wizard. Before I joined WP I was down for 3 weeks trying to figure out where my apps went as well. Once I discovered all the resources available through the search function I got it sorted out. As a matter of fact at that time I was flying with another squad, Invictus, which managed to go out of business during my absence. The only Invictus pilot left I think is Dick77. Digger was Invictus as well or at least that is what I remember the day he recruited me in a game.

Well Viper, your experience and knowledge is a invaluable resource to the Pack. This highlights the fact for newer Wolf Pack members. If you find yourself having Technical questions, account issues, forum questions etc. Ask the Pack for help. In most cases one of our pilots has had the same issue or problem. Our cumulative knowledge is a resource that should be tapped and taken advantage of.
Wanted to tell all of you God bless you. Stay safe thank you for being part of my life. Between my family and taking care of my father who has cancer. I have no more time. I have to take care of my father every day. We are fixing to start radiation treatments M-F for a solid month. Then more tests about 6 to 8 hour surgery middle part of June then a very long recovery. Viper I did send you another email in regards to this as well. So I have become very busy. He can't get around good because of the place the cancer is in. I have been taking him to all of his appointments. So please keep us in prayer. I will not make the elite transition.
Thank you all again bless you all!!!

Rest assured ill stay in touch via email Edward. Been busy 'round these parts as well as you know. Having just made the transition back to day shift has made it difficult, since my sleep schedule is now officially all out of whack.
You have our prayers, my friend.

My Grandad and Nanny Sim after World War II. He was a coal stoker on a Escort ship. The Kamsack was the name of the ship and it was Canadian Corvette Escort ship in the North Pacific. Many of these ships were sunk by the german Uboats. While escorting Merchant ships and supply Vessels that were destined for Europe to the Allies. Im not sure how much action my Grandfather saw as he never spoke of the War. There is a story my father told me, Once a U boat surfaced near my Grandads ship after Germany surrendered, The U boat shot a torpedo that missed the the bow of the ship by about a 100 meters, the U boat then dived and was never seen again. If you have ever seen pictures of this Canadian War Vessel you would shudder. These ships were not really that menacing and were easily sunk by Torpedoes. It must have been hell shoveling coal in the guts of these ships just praying nothing hit you. Thanks Grandad.

Main article: Flower-class corvette
Flower-class corvettes like Kamsack serving with the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War were different from earlier and more traditional sail-driven corvettes.[3][4][5] The "corvette" designation was created by the French as a class of small warships; the Royal Navy borrowed the term for a period but discontinued its use in 1877.[6] During the hurried preparations for war in the late 1930s, Winston Churchill reactivated the corvette class, needing a name for smaller ships used in an escort capacity, in this case based on a whaling ship design.[7] The generic name "flower" was used to designate the class of these ships, which – in the Royal Navy – were named after flowering plants.[8]
Corvettes commissioned by the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War were named after communities for the most part, to better represent the people who took part in building them. This idea was put forth by Admiral Percy W. Nelles. Sponsors were commonly associated with the community for which the ship was named. Royal Navy corvettes were designed as open sea escorts, while Canadian corvettes were developed for coastal auxiliary roles which was exemplified by their minesweeping gear. Eventually the Canadian corvettes would be modified to allow them to perform better on the open seas

That certainly is some interesting history Cypher. Thanks for posting! As a Navy man I am always interested in not only historical things from the US Navy but all navies. We sailors share a common bond that is stronger than national pride.... its hard to explain. I would be very proud of my grandfather, Cypher.
