Hi all , i dropped my phone again broke screen , luckily my partner just bought me a new one tho this is android so i dont have elite on this phone , but for a few days will hopefully be on df

Also i would like to thank many players for the constant support i am getting , i have even had my partner read it to help show her why i keep comingback to df

Also many players like Bullet and blue fighter have spent hours on elite trying to help me hone my skills , it really means a lot to me

When I hit the #40 mark in World Rank of DogFight and the 6K mark of hangars, I decided it was time to overcome my bias against Elite. After all, it is reality that Zup will be terminating that dear old game we all have loved so well. So, 90% of my flying time has been spent in Elite. A lot of the time, there aren't many people there. Mostly see the same pilots. However, it is an opportunity to gain valuable experience, and everybody helps each other to improve. White Fang was most helpful to me. Thank you, again, Fang! Make no mistake---Elite is just enough like the old DogFight to seem familiar, and just sneakily different enough to drive you insane! I strongly suggest to all wolves that you jump in, the waters fine. ASAP. If THIS old dog can start liking it---I, who fussed something terrible---then you young fellers will, too.

It is actually a better game---gasp! I will be most pleased with a few fixes, though:

(1) the lost connection rate is appalling.
(2) the tank doesn't handle nearly as well as the old one.
(3) the range of the tank shot is much less.
(4) Texting is dangerous in that it is easy to lose your bombs! Don't know why.

Because of the changes in the game, be open to changes in tactics. Not sure exactly what those changes may be, though.

Lastly, Wolf Pack is strong! Let's keep it that way. Help each other make this shift. Good luck, and Owwwwwwoooooooohhhhhhhh!

I agree with Dunc seeing the same pilots but on the typing part I don't lose my bombs I just can't see who is in front of me my keyboard covers 100% of my screen and the elite aiming I luv only problem is I can't play dogfight the way I used to soo I will only be playing elite from now on and if u ever need any help pm me or look for me in the servers fest mess vimy or artois for help with aiming or on wut ever else u need help with

Get yourselves out there and lets go get these good folks who would otherwise be left behind in legacy without a squad. There may also be opportunities in elite but my experience is those players are mostly folks who are already affiliated with one of the various squads.

Challenge yourselves. Make it less about your world rank and stats and more about who I have brought onboard, who I have trained, and what have I done for my squadron lately.

Lunas, the landing contest is a great idea. As soon as I get to fly ill be joining that as well. Remember not to piss off the rest of your team while not fighting and trying to land though... some folks will want you in the skies with guns blazing and not fooling around by landing on top of the duck wing monument, for example.

As an important side note, I received a pm from Wulf who is back in the hospital and unable to play right now. He wanted me to tell you that he really misses his Wolf Pack brothers. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers guys, he is having a rough time and needs our support.

Make sure you fly some in legacy too. Not everyone worth .02 is on world chat. I personally avoided wc until I was level 17 or so, it was mostly nonsense and silly stuff which had nothing to do with flying and dying! Those are the folks we want to recruit... not the wc trolls but the ones who love to fly, and love the game as much as we do.

Trust me, if you fly and scout for talent, the numbers will come.

Thanks for your earlier post Dunc regarding Elite. You hit the nail on the head.
Viper is correct about growing the Squad. Lets get some new talent and keep the Pack strong and active.

Okay wolves, I just finished updating the first page of this thread with all the changes, addition, deletions, awards, etc. Please take just a quick moment to check to make sure I have your information accurate. While you are at it, feel free to check anyone you see regularly to make sure I have it all squared away.

Its a little bit of a chore to keep track of everyone, especially when they appear as one rank in elite and a different rank in legacy, but I think I have it sorted with just the active folks who are currently on our roster.
