I had a wonderful week with you wolves. I sure wont forget it any time soon! Thank u for allowing me to be a part of the fun everyone of you have been top notch to me, red or blue. Ive enjoyed it sooo much. I hate to leave, but my time has come to say fair well. Im so happy to have made so many new friends here and to have had the opportunity to fly with and against you guys. Very skilled wolves indeed!
Good bye now. Im going off to my quarters to pack my things and get ready to head back over to the Gunners nest.

I played another game tonight of btb. One of our GI brothers daily was red . When I was taking off I noticed on my team was that mix guy. He bombed the enemy's hangers and camped on them. He was repeatably circling behind the hangers and shooting reds on takeoff. This is the same guy that was dropping the other night. At first I bite my lip but the more he spawn killed the more mad I got. Until I had seen enough and exploded. I team killed him and told him just what I thought of him. I figured it would be best to hear this from me first. This guy is a moraf but plays like a coward.

Yogy, my brother, I don't think he repeatedly shot reds; he repeatedly shot ME. Everyone else was fighting at the other end. The only reason I was even in the air when you finally got to our base was that he circled a little too high once.

I wouldn't even complain about him sneaking down there in the first place if it had just been to bomb hangars, but that spawnkilling bloodbath was just pathetic.

I thank you for flushing the stool sample, since I was having trouble reaching the handle.

Wolf Pack..

My apologies for missing the past three pages and days, the lovely Mrs Padre and I have been trading an ailment back and forth.. Now here's the hard part.. Nobody and I mean NOBODY, likes to hear a geezer talk about health, that being said it's important to me that you don't think I abanded you guys because I had a case of the sniffles.. After coming down with the flu on Monday i proceeded to get really sick, and on Wednesday we went to an urgent care where I was diagnosed with pneumonia, and given some super heavy antibiotics.. Guessing it got serious because my immune system has been suppressed by the chemo.. Then on Friday my wife came down with the same initial flu that I had (uhh, no she didn't thank me for giving it to her) and yesterday she went down hill and it was my turn to take her to an urgent care..diagnosis acute bronchitis.. It's of note here that this was the first vist by either of us to an urgent care.. Yes I the c's (hate that word, and their over and thank God all's ok) but neither of us are "sickies" or at least we never were before now lol.. The wife is still in nasty shape and honestly I feel guilty about being away from her right now.. I'm now on the mend, just very weak, which they tell me is normal.. Thank all you guys for the PM's, and thanks brother Cush for checking up on me daily, I think he wanted me to leave him the Harley, and kept asking what size boots I wore, but mine are a size 13 and he wears a 71/2 narrow..

This is very important, and I'm sorry it's late.. Cyper has been selected as pilot of the Month, and in my honest opinion represents everything that's quality about a fellow Squadron mate.. We have a lot of superior individuals.. Honestly an amazing amount of super pilots, and genuinely good men and women.. I was deeply touched by TX Constables scripture, which I believe was from the sermon on the mount (correct me if I'm wrong please) if you don't see the basic goodness in this Squadron, that starts with our two Texas brothers Cush, and Constable, and goes out from there, then you have blinders on.. But of all the fine Men and Women.. Cyper really does stand out as beng extraordinary .. I'm looking forward to reading his award to Dognabitts, and proud to count him, and the rest o you as friends.. In closing I suggest we also give thanks to the best leadership team in Dog Fight.. Viper, Skeeter, and Dunc.. You guys rock!

I noticed the Gunners Inc have there own clothing apparel with GI logos etc. Does the Wolf pack have anything similar to this. I would love a Wolf Pack hoody

No we don't but I can contact GI and find out what the deal with that stuff is, then see what kind of interest there would be in Wolf Pack apparel and the like. If there is enough interest perhaps we can get something like that up and running........

It was something that Zup did I believe, so that people could have things they may want for their squad, but sort of ended when Wig wanted to sue him for using his artwork, or something like that. (that apparently is also why Mac/Kappa/etc. act the way they do, to try and destroy the game to get back at Zup).

However, talk to HB about it, and he can probably figure out how to add items to that account. There are similar places where you can create custom t-shirts, mugs, etc. and then anyone that wants to buy one can order from there, and whomever owns the account can make a little $ from it.

It's a different company, but it's pretty similar to Café Press, if you've ever dealt with that.

Hey everyone, check out my new banner! More of Doggnammits handiwork!! The picture is of my dad (center) and 2 buddies in front of one of the planes he flew on in Korea as a radio operator. The plane was part of the Psi-ops operations and was one of two planes outfitted with huge speakers, they would fly over enemy positions and a korean would speak to the soldiers below and try to convince them to surrender while they would drop propaganda leaflets from the plane. It was dangerous because they would have to fly slowly in an unarmed plane.
He passed on a long time ago so it'll be nice to have this reminder of him on my posts!

That is a really cool banner. The forgotten war was a very brutal war. The veterans of the Korean War not only faced the Noth Koeans but 750,000 Chinese and brutal weather. You should be very proud of your father for his service. This just goes to show that you don't have to pull a trigger to be an American hero.

Wow. That is really a piece of history there. Great picture. You should start a thread with that encouraging other pilots to post pictures of family that has served in a war. or even photos of them selves if they have served. I am sure there are lots of DF members that have old pictures they would love to share along with a story explaining the history behind it. If you have any more such pictures please share.

If memory serves me there was a C47 flying between Andros Island, Bahamas, and NAS Jax when I first started going down to AUTEC for torpedo and acoustic training. While I didn't fly on it, I was returning home from a detachment as part of a two aircraft flight, the other aircraft being the C47. They left ahead of us but our aircraft arrived home first. The power plants on the C47's were reciprocating engines and our transport had turboprop power plants, which are faster. Beautiful aircraft, but I was sure happy to be flying on the more modern airplane!
