Oh crap! Missed your post Myrlin. Phone and tiny screen and all. Best of luck! Had my own woodshop for a number of years. It can be tough, but those were some of the best days of my life! My golf game improved tremendously! Sure, sure, that meant I was working until 3 in the morning and curled up in a sleeping blanket in my shop so that I could get up early to finish what didn't get done the day before, but good times!

Thanks everyone! I'll still be here and not far from home. I always check in several times a day. DIGGER and VIPER, I'm working on your banners as I get inspiration while I browse for images. You guys are my heroes, so be patient. I'll make them worth the wait.
As far as the business, I received an offer to do some advertising art for a business. They found me, of all places, here on Dogfight. They saw a banner of mine and looked me up to see more of my work,and liked what they saw. It could turn into a full time gig with opportunities for referral work later. I'm looking into finding an online school that would teach me more. I've considered just using YouTube, but, I'd like something structured to guide me through it.
Anyway, I want to thank the Wolf Pack as a whole for allowing me to continue to provide you with my art endeavors. Who would have thought a HVAC mechanic who's out on disability would have found a way to make a living doing what he loves. All while playing a game. Something that started on a whim, and as a hobby. Something completely different from my life's work. God truly works in mysterious ways!
That's why I haven't been here the last week as much as before. Thanks to everyone for your patience. Love you all.

That is great news Myrlin. The strangest things can happen in the strangest places, and one never knows who really is on the keyboard side of an avatar when playing online. I've noticed that a lot of the free graphic thingys available through the web store also have free in- depth how to's available after the initial download ,check some out if they have nothing just get rid of it no harm no faul plus you might learn to use a wider spectrum of apps , etc. I'll shut up now since I can't do any of it don't listen to the dumby.

Also for anyone interested in American College sports, the University of Nevada at Reno just happens to be known as the Wolf Pack, lots of paraphernalia with the words Wolf Pack & a wolf head available so look them up I'm sure they're available online where ever college sports merchandise can be had and

1) In an effort to provide uniformity to in-squad promotions the following guidelines shall be used as a framework:

c) Air Marshal promotion: Only individuals who display loyalty to Wolf Pack shall be considered for promotion to Air Marshal. Air Marshal promotions shall be accomplished by an AM Promotion Board. The AM promotion board shall consist of all Wolf Pack Air Marshals from all Hunting Groups. Promotion to Air Marshal shall be awarded to pilots at or above the rank of 25 following nominations to the AM promotion board. Nominees for Wolf Pack Air Marshal shall be based upon adherence to squad rules and guidelines, overall game play, behavior on the forum and in world chat, overall activity, ability to represent Wolf Pack ethics and standards, and guidance and mentorship of junior wolves. Air Marshal candidates must be voted upon by all members of the AM promotion board and all promotions shall be decided by unanimous vote. AM promotion boards will convene once per calendar quarter beginning the last week of the calendar quarter. In order to establish a guideline, the last week of March, 2015 will be Wolf Pack's inaugural AM promotion board.

2) These guidelines are open for discussion for a period of 10 days from todays date and ending March 22, 2015. I encourage all active wolves to weigh in reference the aforementioned promotion guidelines here in an open forum to establish a final product prior to the convening of our first AM promotion board.

The Skipper and I both agree that Wolf Pack belongs to each and every one of us. We are a pack. Policy changes which will ultimately affect each and every wolf should be done in writing and generally agreed upon by a majority. All input regarding promotions will be considered prior to the 10 day deadline, at which time the promotion policy will be set and promotions will begin.

Concerning promotion to Air Marshal I believe it should be given ONLY to Wolves in either WP or WP/GI. We do have some wolves who fly in both squads, but we are allied with GI. Loyalty is a huge thing in WOLF PACK and if anyone is flying in multiple squads (with multiple names in game) this promotion would give them access to information we would not want shared outside WP.

I agree with the dual membership conflict maybe needing an addendum. Maybe if private information is compromised cross squad, it would be grounds for immediate dismissal. I'm OK with your outline as presented otherwise, and I'm all in on the support and implementation. We'll done.

That is a very valid point and one that needs to be added to the Air Marshal rules. Thing is,how do you really know who has 2 accounts?

That information should be submitted when the promotion is under review.

I think we should discuss with GIs what policy (if any) they have for duel members. It is important that duel members are treated the same in both squads. If the GI's already have a policy, we should consider what issues will arise if we act differently.

I'll check with HB to see what they have in place already, if anything, regarding dual memberships. I know off the top of my head we have at least one WP member who is also GI under a different name. I am good with it and so is HB. I don't know of any GI's who are other squad members....

Why don't we open up the floor to anyone that has dual accounts. Not necessarily non-squadron accounts, but rather those that have membership in a second squad. I inherited my son's account, who doesn't fly anymore, and I've never used it. Are there any Wolves that have another account that is tied to another squadron? If you don't want to answer publicly, feel free to PM Viper. This is all in the interest of figuring out how to write our guidelines.

I do not have another account nor do I fly under a different name. And this is just my opinion, it does not reflect on WP/GI/DFCommunity, but if someone would lie about something as simple as whether they fly under more then one account then this community has major issues which need addressing. One possible solution might be an account verification form (very simple) that would be sent to Zuperman or echoboom or the grand poobaa or who ever by the individual at the appropriate time requesting confermation of multiple accounts, all preplanned and everything. Or not.

Mad, Elim, thanks for dropping by! Always happy to see both of you either on the forum or game. Elim you have some mad howling skills there... are you sure you aren't a wolf in disguise?

For the record, I am a one account person and always will be. No need to make up funny names, which I kinda enjoy seeing, and no need to accumulate points for anyone but me. If you see Viper10 in a game and you are blue, you know exactly what you are getting. Same goes for reds, except I will be doing whatever I can to make your flying experience chock full of lead. I have no issues with dual account folks however. That is just not for me.
