So we haven't reported the results of the battle since the early session ended up laggy and we unanimously decided no contest even though Quack does deserve credit for having a small lead. We are going to try again at the late session. Check a few posts ago for times.

The results of fight night were:

Dino Spider vs. Quack TIE

with honorable mention to Quack since he did have a slight lead but not enough game time to agree to a fair contest. It was fun to watch you two battle! Until next week unless anyone wants a mid week make up...

Yep good close battle, Quack is a great pilot. I think I had the lead in the second round but he definately was having some technical issues, I was glad we decided to stop then. It was unfortunate that Fest was down as all the other sites were jambed up. Good friendly comp, will do it again sometime. Dino

Sorry i didnt make it to fight nigh. Would have been fun to watch two pilots so close in skill .

Work's been keepin' me bizzy, but I gotta a few questions about scavenger hunt.

Assume that I know absolutely nothing about how to do the technical aspects of your scavenger hunt when I ask:

1) How do I participate; and
2) What do I need to participate.

If this is already posted somewhere, let me know and I'll look for that.

Well how about putting a soldier on the bridges wires. And a soldier on the carriers superstructure. I still don't know if its possible to climb the structures steps but I'd love to try

I tried to climb steeps in town and it didn't work so well. I tried to a while back to walk across the bridge and once you get over the the water it kicked me back to my base.

Well it's ever changing so I will summarize since it may not be easy to figure out from past posts.

You can participate in one of two ways, either as a Scavenger Hunter or a target.

As a Scavenger Hunter all you have to do is:

1. Post on the Scavenger Hunt thread that you would like to play
2. Get the list of items posted on the Scavenger Hunt thread.
3. Complete item #1 FIRST!! No other hunt items count until your have item 1.
4. Collect as many of the items you can. Depending on the hunt it's either first to complete or most items at the end wins!

I just want to let all you Devil's Dragons know that 238 years ago from tomorrow, the Continental Congress commissioned Samuel Nicholas to raise two Battalions of Marines.

10 November, 1775 is the birthday of the United States Marine Corp.

Tomorrow, I will celebrate with my friend who is also a Marine. He is 96 years old and fought in Guadalcanal and then in Okinowa. He suffered from melaria from the Guadalcanal and was told he had to go home and that he could no longer serve. He decided that it was not right to feel like you can still fight and be told to go home. He found out there was a ship headed to Okinowa and he decided to sneak on. He was got and thrown in the brig on that ship. The captain of the ship was extremely pissed. Not as much at my friend but at his crew, because this could have lead to sabotaged his ship if my friend was with the enemy. The captain decided to let my friend off the hook. Im not 100% clear on my friends explanation, but it had somthing to do with that he was still in military control. And even though he abandoned post, the captain had the power to reassign him. He said he also explained that he only did so he could help in fighting.

So, tomorrow the U.S.M.C. will continue with its rich traditions, history and 238 years of kicking ass! OOOOORAH!
