Oh hey, as for M.O.M on M.O.M mayhem, definitely play to win when it's red v. blue. In Dogfight FFA missions I personally will NEVER shoot another M.O.M. I was wracked with guilt a couple nights ago when I was trying to peel someone off a MOMrade's back and caught him. the MOM, in the crossfire. I was in a BTB recently tanking the hangars when Coop respawned directly in my line of fire...several therapy sessions later I'm only just now feeling okay about it. Simmo, notorious, unrepentant spawner and recently admitted M.O.M tanked my arse the second I entered the game...so I left. I'm among those here who feel that spawning from the air is selectively okay (BTB, say, when you're "base capping" waiting for more bombers to arrive) but not too keen on it in free for all mode. Sometimes it happens, sometimes you just can't resist, but as a policy? Not for me.

In the spirit of Tex and Oedius and their anecdotes, here's one of my faves: just today I entered a mission and got spawn raped. Hit retry. Spawned raped again. Third time, definitely not a charm. This time I elected to sit in the middle of the runway as a flaming wreck. Player after player hit me and crashed. Others flew in from elsewhere trying to "re-kill" me...and crashed. Piles of smoldering rubble. Tears rolling down my face the longer it went on. (not just low ranked crashers, either, but some high ranked aces as well!) I counted FIFTY TWO crashes before I finally had to quit and feed the cats! Now that's entertainment...
