Hello fellow aces, this is chopper reporting
Well, first week of work is almost done, this monday I have an important test and tuesday the proyect's second revision, I'm affraid I can't take any little time to fly a bit this weekend, gotta see next one. End of transmission. BTW: Mayday, when starts the design contest? I'm a bit impatient about that, want to see other's work

=Memorial Day Special=
This week we take time to honor those that have fallen in past and current wars. Remember them. we have a new promotion to celebrate! Infernal got the call to become an officer so congrats to him! i know you will do just fine.  this week we see a big shake up in the top 25. a reformed !M was welcomed back to the #8 spot so most everyone took a tumble. two pilots to make note of this week are E*A*G*L*E and Jasta1 who managed to keep their spots from last week and thus remain unaffected rank-wise. good work fellows! one thing that has helped Gunners Inc to become and remain successful is a strong group effort. i see plenty of effort coming from all corners of our squad. we have air marshals in place over all 3 wings. the reason for that is i simply can't manage the squadron on my own, it's too big and spread out. i ask our air marshals to help me in keeping the squad clean and crisp. people who don't communicate, who are a second account, or cause trouble can go. we can replace them with others. this is our entertainment not our job, so i am interested in crewing with people who want to fly and have fun only. i have no hidden agenda, i just like to play dogfight. there is still time to put a logo together for Mayday's Logo Contest. submissions will be accepted until June 15. the aim of the logo contest is to vote on a design that can be turned into a shirt to be used as a prize for the upcoming kills contest in july. stay tuned for more details and if you havent seen the logo contest thread you can view it by clicking this link... as always it is a pleasure to serve Gunners Inc and i'll see you in the skies!

Welcome home !M and 9000!
It is my great pleasure to be handing out 2 promotions this week. Firstly to a returning member, 9000. As he is a level 25 pilot, he earns the rank of Group Captain. Good to see you back, 9K!
Secondly, it gives me great pleasure to be awarding the rank of Wing Commander to Asi Solo. I have been watching his climb through the ranks for the last few weeks and I am happy to report that he is a very competent pilot and is certainly worthy of this promotion. Congratulations, keep up the good work!
I have this next week off work, so I hope to get in the skies as often as I can. I just have to challenge my 'Honey Do' list first! I have a feeling that I will be glad to get back to work for a rest!
I would just like to say it is a pleasure to serve as a leader of this great squad, but it is all of you which make it as great as it is. HB and I may be in charge, but this squad doesn't belong to just HB and I. If you fly as a Gunner, this squad is as much yours as it is ours, regardless of rank. As HB said, we ALL run the squad as a team. Everyone has a part to play and a voice in this squad!

We have an excellent reputation within the community for being some of the toughest pilots in the game. When facing tough competition we do not quit, we fight as hard as we can until the end! This gives you valuable experience fighting against long odds and makes you a much better pilot. Don't worry about your KDR, that is irrelevant. Respect from other pilots for never giving up is worth a whole lot more than stats!
As a growing squad, always remember to keep your eyes open for new talent. If you are impressed with a pilot in-game, steer them our way! Being a Global squad, there is usually an Air Marshall available 24 hours a day.
Keep spreading the word about the forum, we want as many G.I's visiting our pages as possible.

Hey GI pilots!
Blu breeze here, I just had a good idea while dreaming about the old days of df, u know. Back when most everyone got along right. Its still here, but it has faded alot. Ive even noticed the jolly roger is about abandoned. I was thinking of a way to help bring the forum back together as a community and a group and wanted to see what all the forumers thought about my idea. Right now, it seems most everyone stays on their squadron thread, rarely venturing to any other squad thread, unless to send a shout out to a player from that squad. I had the idea, if everyone is on board, to see about making, or asking zup to make a general chat thread. A place where everyone can talk about whatever. To everyone. It seems to me like this would be a great way to involve everyone on the forum and allow a place for everyone to interact, as a community. I love the df community, but it seems its become rather solitary since my leave and id like to see it back to the way it used to be. My appologies for the copy and paste post and for the abrupt posting from nowhere. I just wanted to see what everyone thinks of this idea. What are yalls taking on this? Kindest regards, tBlu Breeze

Hi my fellow GI's long time I haven't been on forums...... hope that u all are doing well..... I am also having problems playing dogfight on my windows 8 laptop, the game keeps crashing and rebooting whenever the internet is connected. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app but same result persist. Keep flying and shooting down reds for me until this issue gets resolved... Long live GI + WP

Thanks HB! Id love a hand. I want to be able to get all or at least most squad moderators involved in the planning, naming, and developement of this thread. my ultimate goal here is to try and bring the forum back to its former glory as a full coexisting community.
