whew lots of storms yesterday had a tornado bout 7 miles from my home mainly hit cow pasture though but scary never the less lots of flooding not in my house but my friend across town had water up to her bumper on her car!! everyone is ok i think 1 person got hurt from the tornado but our weather stations are awesome gave everyone at least 10 minutes to get prepared

glad you are ok fireball. i used to live in kansas and i got to see plenty of spinning clouds down there. tornadoes are the scariest things, but exciting also.

Thats happening with me too . Maybe a glitch on this forum . I saw that neb posted something but when i came to the thread there ws nothing . Only hb's reply to fireball's post .
Thnx mayday i got 50 kills then left . There were 6 morafs and me outta which 4 morafs enemies . Ws fun .

another week, another top 25! this week the top news is: We Did It!
all of our top 25 pilots are now in the top 500 for world rank in dogfight! this is a goal i've been wanting to see happen for well over a year. great job everyone! i'd buy you all a milkshake if i could.

in top 25 news we have seen a small bit of movement. with our pack closing in, the gaps between ranks shrink by the day. many of our ranks are separated by 10 world ranks or less. i have the feeling we will see a hot summer this year!

our BIG rank up this week comes from Elim taking the #8 spot. congrats to elim, he has been flying hard and on the climb. great job bud! other notable ranks ups include Aissa moving into #17, and Armament shows he's no lame duck by taking #23. congrats!

we have a new name to welcome to the big list this week so greetings to Jasta1 starting his climb from #25.

in squad news there is still time to put a logo together for Mayday's Logo Contest. submissions will be accepted until June 15. the aim of the logo contest is to vote on a design that can be turned into a shirt to be used as a prize for the upcoming kills contest in july. stay tuned for more details and if you havent seen the logo contest thread you can view it by clicking this link...
we have a promotion to announce! JesseJames has been an energetic and loyal air marshal who wanted a bit more of a hands on job. so pink, kk and myself agreed that he can become the Training Officer for all of Gunners Inc. the job will include training our lower level (or even higher level) pilots in tactics and tricks to help them get some BIG wins! if anyone has ideas on how to better present the idea of tactics to new recruits feel free to PM jessejames with your thoughts. it's great to have you on board JJ and i hope you have a blast with your new office.

and last but certainly not least, our numbers in all 3 wings have taken a bit of a dip. currently our pilot totals are as follows:

Wing 1: 38
Wing 2: 23
Wing 3: 38

so we have space for about 50 new pilots. we have a great squad with many first rate pilots available to assist and advise new blood. i think we should view this as an opportunity to rebuild and strengthen what we already have. again, i'd like to remind our recruiters that we accept just about anyone so long as they are willing to fly and behave like a rational person. we can train anyone!

as always, it is a true pleasure to be a part of this team. i am very proud of you all every day. have a great week!
