I won't name names here because I'm considering this as an official warning.. we've gotten complaints about a couple when I say couple I mean literally 2 or 3 gi's that has used the tank glitch to win or to cheat. I'm n9t really sure how hb feels about it just yet but I'm almost 100% sure he's gonna agree with me. we are gunners, we play hard, we play to win, but not with a game glitch that allows us to cheat in any way shape, form, or fashion! so with all due respect hb and kk, but anyone I hear of in my wing using that glitch will be kicked out of my wing. I don't like, and I certainly don't use it. I had opportunity to do so but I didnt. Why u ask? Because gi stands for more than just winning, a gi is someone who has guts and honerable and integrity to finish the game without resorting to a glitch to win. That's my opinion, hb and kk may totally disagree but I'm thinking they will be on same page. So gunners, let's play with gi pride, and no more using glitches to win plz?! Thank you!
I'll admit, when I first experienced the glitch with the tank on the carrier I thought "Sweet!!" I proceeded to destroy the carrier. I couldn't believe I wasn't being shot at until someone said they couldn't see me. Then someone else was able to do the same to my carrier one game and try as I might, I couldn't see them or shoot them to get rid of them.
I realized that the tank on the carrier was an unfair advantage, not becoming of GIs. I have had a couple of opportunities since to take this advantage but have not done so.
The enemy Territory tank in the BTB game is a different story. I have experienced a shrinking territory size as games go on. landing a parachute in relatively the same spot, in the same game, the first time it being enemy territory and the next time (much later in game) getting the option for a tank.
I'm not sure if this is a glitch or a way of making a longer game more interesting or if it is a design to encourage longer games to be ended. This I am willing to discuss further, especially with Zup, as he is the game's designer and may have some insight on this phenomenon.
As members of GI we have a responsibility to hold ourselves to higher standards. Honor, Integrity and Respect are more important than winning. I would much rather lose with Honor than win without Integrity.
I'm proud to fly GI, and support Pink, HB, KK and any of my GI Brothers and Sisters. You have an ally in the skies when you see me, Red or Blue.
