Some days i get sooo frustrated with this game i love to fly have always loved airplanes but i suck so bad i feel like flying cannon fodder a toddler with a rubberband could shoot me down. I get my a$$ handed to me on a regular basis doesn't matter what lvl I'm playing against its emasculating. Maybe i just need to vent, practice makes perfect everyone has bad days blah blah I guess ill treat this like playing pool,love to play but i always lose missing the easiest shot or scratching on the eight ball. Also im biploar so going from pissed to depressed takes like 3 seconds! So im just bummed I'll get over it...one day

I've given in to the fact that I can't shoot straight enough to hit the side of a barn at times. it's frustrating, I know.

I guess everyone in this squad can relate with you. we all have bad days. sometimes I get to the point where I say to myself 'ok if I get shot down by that rookie again....' the rest is personal! its especially bad when you have a bad real life day and a bad dogfight day!

Fireball, man I can relate. My machine just updated a few days ago and it seems to have thrown off my sights. Can't seem to hit much of anything right now.

Well it is good to see that I'm not alone in not being able to hit anything.... I think anyway LOL!

How about if/when we encounter each other as a red, we tell each other if we are shooting to high or low or ahead too much or whatever.... just a thought.... I'll be glad to help a fellow GI make even a better showing 'out there'.... and we can post more tips on the web site....

I thought this was a great quote from the Gruesome Booby too. It covers pretty much everything our squad is all about. We Gunners have Balls! Even the ladies!

Of course, if you find you aren't improving and find a lot of games frustrating, you could try doing what I do. I don't recommend it for everybody, but try having a few pints of cider before hitting the skies! You still get shot down, but you don't give a poop! I see it as giving the opposition a sporting chance!

after what seemed like forever we were able to diagnose and properly treat our website problem. the site worked very well for pc's and laptops but was a bit difficult for mobile phones and tablets.

the main idea behind the site is to provide a place where g.i members can come and chat with each other. so it only made sense to make it as easy for phone and tab users as possible. i am very glad armament was able to work it all out, thank you!

another fun filled week here at g.i! our top 25 is very solid this week with very little movement to report. however, no movement at all isn't any fun so the big news this week is R E Z takes the #7 spot! movement in the top 10 is very slow indeed so congrats to him!

our only other rank up this week comes from Raunak who fought tooth and nail to keep his name on the big list and he even moved up a rank. good show raunak! also this week we get to welcome a pilot to the top 25. Armament took some time out of his busy webmaster schedule to join us on the big list in the #25 spot, good to see you here with us big armament!

our contest is still open to all pilots from g.i and wp. for those living in america the contest will begin on thursday night and run through sunday night. if you have any questions about when to start i'll be glad to figure it out for you. i hope to see some more members sign up before we start. time is running out! if anyone is unsure of where to go to sign up they can just click this link....


in website news, this week saw more visitors than usual so thank you for that. i do appreciate those that take a moment or two throughout the week to check in. the chat function has been improved so phone and tablet users can easily jump in a conversation by clicking on "mobile chat". that website could be a powerhouse for us if we use it in the right way.
