Why does it seem that GI camps/spawn kills etc.

Is it inherent?

I encounter it with GI constantly. Especially on overloaded missions.

Nothing wrong with camping,as long as they aren't spawn killing. If someone is doing it,say who it is,or else no action can be taken

As a new Dogfight player and even newer member of Gunners Inc... I can say that I've encountered all types of players with all sorts of philosophies on how to accomplish missions. With that being said, since joining Gunners, I've become a much more considerate player, being coached by my squadmates not to spawnkill or camp unnecessarily. (I say unnecessarily because I consider a bombing run open season)

I've become more sensitive to it from others and have even called out some on it.


If you read the comments above, you would see the attitude of our leadership, how dedicated they are to the reputation of Gunners Inc..., and how serious they are about cutting dead weight and bad apples from the squad.


I sympathize with your frustration, and would say that you may even be justified, but honestly, all we can really do police those within our own units, as you may need to do as well.

ok paul, since you have respectively asked us to address your comment i will be glad to do it.

from what i know of you, you have been around the game for quite some time. i'm curious why any of this stuff is new to you. all new pilots and squads get on the nerves of the older players. some new squads don't care, others, like us, spend quite a bit of time and effort following up on complaints and attempting to demonstrate a standard of conduct. i take any complaints against our pilots quite seriously. of course, all of that work is done behind the scenes so i don't expect you to notice. it does happen.

but i must say i am surprised that someone like yourself would make such a broad assumption about our organization. openly asking yourself if our spawnkilling and camping ways are a vital characteristic of our identity (in our squad thread) is at best unfriendly. i ask that you show my squadron the same courtesy i show to yours.

Well paul I respect you highly and all I can say is this...no disrespect intended at all but I've been camped myself by members of your squad as well as other squads and honestly the camping sk ing debate has been a ever day issue in this game and it falls to a players morals some have them some don't. ...Your squad believes in camping and that's all good to each his own I guess and I don't agree with it neither but what do you do?? And beck still hating on GI noticed you liked his comment real fact lmao....you too promote sk in a tank and you have the gull to like a comment against it lol which is it Beck??

I had exactly the same idea earlier in the week! That way we can all see by the banner in game which squad pilots belong to. Making the necessary adjustment now.

every time i do the top 20 it feels good knowing another week of hard flying has been completed here at gunners inc. this week we survived our first P.R. storm in the forum. all complaints made against our pilots should be followed up on by any of our officers. i also feel without fun, there's no reason for any of this, so let's keep fun in the front of our minds when playing this game of dogfight.

in other news, we welcome a new addition to our family in wing 3! i hope to see that branch of gunners inc grow and get mean.

as for our rankings, not a whole lot has changed from last week. REZ and nixkillin each jump up a spot so congrats to them! it's good to see our newer pilots making a splash. also this week we saw the return of doc to the standings. he got his old account activated again and will be a force to be avoided in the skies i am sure. i would like to welcome jenpui to the top 20 this week! gunners inc is a large squad nowadays and there is no shortage of fine pilots competing for a top 20 spot. congrats to all of our rank leaders! keep your guns clear and your aim steady! see you in the skies....

[edit]: i forgot to say anything about KK's top 10! whoopsie. as i have previously said, i am very excited for his weekly segment. i think it will help to unify the two wings. every week there will be wing news here on the forum. so that is great to see and i'd like to say thanks to KK for taking on the role of wing leader and punching bag for gunners inc! doing great so far sir, keep it up!
