it isn't wrong, people do it all the time. i think the real challenge of it is to get into a position where you can actually shoot the carrier before sinking. you don't have much time and generally the tank is facing the opposite direction of the carrier when you get into it.

lol,when you fly a d3 you better plan where you get shot down,has helped me win several games anyway. If you fly close to the carrier its easy

phoenix, just keep in mind tactics like that are usually frowned upon by myself and most others in the game. there is a time and place for everything however, and sometimes after a two hour slug match i really don't care who wins or how they do it haha.

getting in the very intense matches where every opportunity must be exploited or you'll be overrun is good fun also. basically, get a hit in while you can because there won't be another chance. it all depends on the reds.

Just got promoted to Level 20!

Now if only I can get enough cash to buy all the upgrades on my planes... they fly like pigs without the upgrades...lol

Manic is fine we had 2 members in a squad sk and camp him repeatedly. ..there is no reason possible for this to happen!! So sadly we lost 2 members tonight...no need to do that to your own squad member if you choose to do it to others I would have more understanding but NOT one of your own!!! This is common sense guys!!!

this situation has caused me to rethink some things for sure. firstly, behavior of our own. we have air marshals in squad for a reason, and i would hope they all take the action that is needed when the time comes. i consider wing 2 to be semi autonomous and will support the decisions made by kk as to who, or what, needs to go.

second, recruiting. we have always had a very open door to anyone that would want to join us. i'd like to continue that. an unfortunate side effect of such a policy is that we need to spend lots of effort on getting rid of inactives and undesireables. so let's communicate with each other. i have seen lots of new G.I names in the sky these days.

and about the situation with manic...pilots who do that to anybody need to go. period. i don't really care what squad they do it to, if they behave like that in game i will be pissed. and most importantly, we don't need pilots like that to muddy up our name...we've got kk for that!

Vince, apply to either squad and we will accept you as a member of the family. I would say squad, but it goes a lot deeper than that, my man!
If you want to be on the same squad chat as Desi, then apply to the first squad on the list (squad 1).
If you want to keep a safe distance because you have an impending restraining order involving her then join the 2nd on the list (squad 2).

The events of the past day or so have really pushed my buttons, for want of a nice way of putting it. This squad only has a few rules, if anyone wants to be reminded of these rules, look at page 1 on our thread.

I am proud to fly as a G.I. because for a fairly new squad, we have one of the best reputations of ALL squads in the game as being respectful, fun-loving and fair. We have fun when we fly against other squads and squadmates alike. Camping and spawnkilling should only ever be reserved for the few pilots in the world of Dogfight who decide that is the way they prefer to fly.

All in all, we have a damn fine reputation and I will fight anyone to preserve that reputation.

ANY member of G.I. who has any questions regarding any aspect of the game can contact HB or myself in a private message here. My door is always open, no question will be unanswered even if you regard it as daft!

In closing, I love being an active representative of this extended family we call Gunners Inc.

i have said it before...gunners inc is one of the easiest squads to get into. but in order to stay, a pilot must be active and friendly. that's all. and if someone cannot manage to do either of those things, they won't stay in g.i for long. i know KK feels as strongly about this as i do.

now then....to get through the next 4 hours of work i may need a few ammo boxes and a couple bombs.
