Ok this just happened to me, and it's the first time I've heard of it happening.

As many of you know, I have a cracked screen on my iPad so tanking is a chore for me, but when I'm close to a carrier I'll try to get a shot in.

Well, it so happened that I landed right at the edge of the lake and got in my tank, I was trying my best to get in the tank (not always easy thanks to the iPad), and then turn to shoot (a slow process by the way). There I see part of the carrier with reds taking off, but my chute is blocking my site from a good shot but have to shoot before the reds shoot me, right?

Nope, because the stupid chute blocked the tank round and I blew myself up. WTH?????

Has this happened to anyone else?

Zup, can the chute disappear faster, or you make it so it doesn't block a tank round?

yes you gotta wait for the chute to disappear or just move a tad in front of it or boom you shoot ur dead sill isnt it a piece of silk can destroy a tank

Must be super strength kevlar, not silk.

Yes I should have moved, but that's a feat in itself on my iPad because of the cracked screen, and then usually when I try that the iPad starts to freak out, so I try not to move the tank. Same thing with trying to aim in the chute.

I know, I know just fix the iPad, but right now I don't have the budget for it, too many bills to pay, etc.

Lol bullets can take down chute but not tank shell. Really funny.

Happened to me once afterwards, as Dognamitt mentioned, I wait the chute to disappear before firing.

I was just thinking, wouldn't it be funny if the tank round took the chute with it, and you could see it all the way until it hit.

Could you imagine being a red and seeing that coming at you?

I agree EAGLE,chute has to disappear immediately when you go into tank, and tank should always to apear in front of chute when we land, because it is really annoying when i land and my tanl is behind me, i just dont get time enough to turn and shot red planes/tanks.

And it is really sucks when you go into tank and acidently you shot your dead/crashed plane on ground too.You die twice.
And what about those damn crashes, you got two deaths too!!!

Happened to me right out in the open. Being close to the water probably had nothing to do with it. I had to fire a quit shot at an incoming bandit and hit the chute. Toasted myself. May these are the strongest chutes I ever did see.

Don't hold you breath on a mod to fix this.

The first flak jackets were made of silk n yes silk can stop a bullet tank round not so sure but is plausable
