I joined a game which was capture the flag mission, I notice that our flag was lying at some distance towards the right side of runway at our base (may be red team pilot tried to hold it and got shot).

We got the enemy red flag and drop at the starting point of plane takeoff position at our base but we are unable to pick the blue flag which was lying at some distance towards the right side of runway at our base in spite of touching the flag at high/slow/dead speed.

Is that a glitch or there is other way of picking the blue flag.

We even tried putting the red flag there but nothing happens.

Can anybody/zuperman clarify, why we are unable to pick blue flag?

You're not certain that blue flag at your base didn't spawn where you first saw it? It shouldn't have, and may have operated defectively because of that. There are places near base where flags are inaccessible to either side, but not when in the open. When you say right side, was it near or in a building? When you returned the red flag to your base, it seems that you didn't get a victory. That usually means a glitch in the game.

No the flag is open you can say just 200 mtrs towards right of our Base.

could not pick up the flag is a glitch in the flag mission game, though zup says it was fixed, but i belive it is there still..

i hv faced once same in last week
when red kills me , i droped the flag and after lot try , i hv anable to get it by anyway, RT comes in and captur it later, ohhh thts time my Chat also not working.

I didn't think you could pick up the blue flag. Might be wrong but I thought you had to get the red flag to your base (although there is a bag that won't let you win when you get it there). The blue flag, you have to defend to stop the reds picking it up, but you can't take it back home.

Just played and captured my first flag..
First off when you do finally make it in to the base fly low you have to touch the flag not the light itself then high tail it out off there back to your base. Now if you think you're going to get shot down hit the flag button at the and drop it before you go down or it returns back to the enemy base and you start all over again.

When you do finally make it back, fly low just like you did when you picked up the enemy flag and it's over.
You need to have both flags aboard your plane back at your base.

Hope that helps, I didn't notice how many points it gives for actually capturing the flag though.

It's kinda like dogfighting with a twist.. A little strategy and team chat is a must for this one.

As per Zup, if you are blue and you get shot down while carrying the red flag, the flag will return to red base or you can drop it on land before getting shot. This means the red flag will be lying in field and not in red base if you drop it without getting shot down.

Now if you are red then can't you take back that red flag back to your base which is lying in midfield or you have to wait until a blue plane takes it up and you shot him mid air to get the red flag back to the to red base.

st played capture the flag got it back to base and pressed the icon to drop the flag nothing happened then it says flag captured and the flag went back to the red base and it still showed i had the flag on my screen i have screen shot too

Yes blue you can pick up your flag and return it to the base, if you are shoot down while trying to return it then it will automatically return back to base. If not carry it back and drop it on the runway.

I just played a CTF Mission by myself. Everything were fine.
Yes.. must capture the flag & not the light ray. The light ray is to show us where the flag is located, but if u want to be successful in this game.. then always head for the light ray beam.. but make contact with the item to be captured to Get the "W" Big Win

Here I just had successfully Captured the flag by flying through it just barely off the ground on enemy air strip. I hovered through it with out having to land.. might be kinda hard to do when reds are in-Game but it can be done. Either go through flag without touching the ground or land on air strip & proceed to roll through the flag to capture it or replace it to ur base.




Here I successfully return to Home base with enemy flag.


In attachments CTF4 & CTF5 u will see how I successfully land & place enemy flag with Our Home base Flag to Win the Game. Hope this helped.
