Your problem is a common one and occurs regularly.

Firstly, the name you pick has to have a maximum of 17 characters including any spaces you put in. If the name you pick is too long, your name won't change.
Secondly, the servers get busy at times and then the system won't allow you to change your name. You can try logging out of the app then re-starting it and trying to change your name again. If this doesn't work, try again in 24 hrs.

I am on a Windows 8 pc, and when I click multiplayer it doesn't show my profile, so I cant see my rank, kills, deaths, etc. And I also can not change my name or chat on Global. When I try to it says "Click a region to sign in or register" and I am already registered. Help?

I don't use a computer, so im not sure. Maybe try logging out and logging back in? Hopefully there will be someone who can help better then I can. Haha

Ummmmm. Isn't there a whole section that's named dogfight support lol don't mean to be a party pooper but I think zip would go to that section to check the latest complaints.

As per Zup, there is waiting period of 24hrs for next name change.

Secondly, just search the name in pilot search option. Be sure the name you want to take must not be taken already by someone. In that case it will not allow duplicate name.

On the card there is usually a website address, and when you go there you can and should register that card.
