I just installed the latest update for the Windows 8.1. Since the update my game play experience is quite choppy and none of the controls are smooth rendering the game virtually unplayable. Is there anything I can do to correct this? I am running a Dell inspiron 3512 with an Intel Pentium 64 bit, 1.8 GHz processor, 4 g RAM.

Everything from the throttle slider to the actual aircraft controls will not function smooth enough to effectively play the game. The enhanced graphics look great but the gameplay is significantly diminished. Perhaps my settings need adjustment or my computer isn't fast enough to support the new graphics?

Any help would be appreciated.

I'm glad you wrote this, as I thought it was just my experience. It's choppy, slower and feels like I gave up great game play for fancy trees.

I would welcome suggestions too.

I did send echoboom an email reference these issues. Hopefully Zup is looking into it. My experience has been no reply to previous emails but I am optimistic because it really looks like Zup has been very active lately and will address my problems or at least provide some kind of suggestion to improve gameplay.

Im going to try the graphics off option and see if that helps otherwise this Viper is grounded pending resolution of these issues.

Update******

I went into settings and switched off all the options. Game works like before the update and looks the same too. BTC was a fun win with Bilko, Myrlin, and a few others.... warheads on foreheads! WOOT!

The graphics are cool, but the game is better because of simplicity and fun play.

Will try graphics off option and hopefully get my 'normal' plane back! Thanks!

Yeah, that's a pretty slow pc, probably the graphic card can't handle it. I'm surprised it passed that level and assigned you to it.

As it was already explained, you can go into the settings and disable most of the graphics options so it goes fast. I'll look into a way so that it doesn't enable trees by default on that machine.

The game is very laggy after the subscribe update as well its so very bad the game is unplayable most the time so u need to stop playing with the graphics and start working on the lag problems and no making forced servers is not an option

I figured it had to do with the speed of my machine. I may update someday to a quicker PC but no plans for that at this time. I did disable the enhanced graphics and the game now runs as it did prior to the latest update. I am happy with that.

Thanks for the quick response! I have no idea what happened to the email I sent to echoboom. I go to the home page and click the contact icon and type in an email message. Perhaps next time I will cut and paste the address into my email and see what happens.
