Hey guys, I'm looking for some help, I play on Windows 8 and have found great success with the xbox controller. However, If I don't shoot the plane down far away and we get in a turning war, within 2 turns I'm dead.

I used to chalk it up to experience, then technique, but am now convinced its the lack of adjustments on the controller. No matter which plane I pick, I have a D8 and a Camel F1 both fully upgraded and still 2 turns I'm dead.

I was in a great game with someone who helped me test this theory he was in a lesser plane not upgraded and could still turn inside of me.

I've tried throttle control, split s's, flips, turns, changing direction. Nothing works.

I'm looking for suggestions.

Free Advice (remember it's only as good as what you pay for it.. lol!)

#1 - When the battle goes from head to head to a dogfight scenario, ditch the X-box 360 controller for PC & use your arrow keys!

#2 - There is no number 2.. follow #1 lol!

Im not sure which view you use but go to controls pick regular view which lets you adjust sensitivity, raise sensitivity all the way up then go back to controls and pick simple. It makes your plane turn on a dime.

Its hard to aim head on but with practice you can become a good shot. Im getting better with long range but its still difficult, but fun and remember computers are more powerful than smartphones and tablets so the game plays smoother.

We even tried the arrow keys and he could still turn inside of me. Straight up turning battle, by 2-3 turns he was behind me every time. Super goofy.

Well if they have a higher tier plane they will out turn you. Dont just turn expecting to out turn them. You have to make manuvers, barrell rolls, its tough with a slow plane. I still use the free planes and its tough but Ive shot down higher tier planes. Just be patient and keep flying to earn points and get better planes.

Ive been in turning fights for 20 minutes and even though they are faster and stay behind me i make them earn that kill.
