since the mini update on Jul 18 (Android) it is impossible to control the game on nexus 7.

Even if pooling the sensitivity gouge all the way back, I can't control the plane, parachute or tank.

Before this update that problem was mainly with the parachute controllers but now, plans and tanks are uncontrollable to a point it is impossible to play.

Any suggestions or ideas of how can this be fixed?

Do you use the onscreen joystick to control your plane or the motionsensor?
Tank and chute is a big trouble to control on both nexus 7 and galaxy s4 but the motionsensor has always worked good on them.

I'm using motion sensor...it worked until the last updated...

I play on Nexus 7 as well, and have always enjoyed playing even when other devices and platforms were having trouble - it's always been solid and reliable. I did the sane update and it's working great.
I'm not very tech-savvy but I would recommend uninstalling Dogfight and reinstalling again to see if there is a change, and make sure you have the latest android version - a new version updated to my Nexus recently, maybe that would help if you didn't already get it.

I did that too (remove and reinstall) still the same... My droid version is 4.4.4 ktu84p which I believe is the latest update, so that's a dead end as well.
What I did is, louckylly I found an old backup of dogfight on my device, it is the first version of the last upgrade 4.54, so I installed that instead the Jul 18 version and turned off the outo update for dogfight.
Looks like I'm back to where I was... Hopefully B)

I play on my nexus 7 no problem. It seems your tablet is messed up.

hummm, that's weird since everything else i have on it seems to work just fine...and i only got it for 8 moths so it is not that old either its a nexus 7 2013 wifi model...

I too play on a Nexus 7 13, plays fine. Used to play on the nexus 7, until an ugly night that I was 2 kills away from a dogfight mission and was snuffed out by BlueMax who I am certain plays with the new 22 inch iPad.... It work well up until it slipped from my sweaty figures on BM final kill that was me, in a desperate banked dive to hell........
I simply don't play dogfight missions any more and am very happy with the 7 13.

Can anyone advise me with my nexus 7 problem? Which is the game often just stops working while I'm in between games, like when selecting an aircraft or changing settings etc. A little dialog box from nexus says DF not responding. I think now it is my problem but don't know how to fix it?

Oh man, I have that happen occasionally with dinky little apps I just have for fun (voice changers and stupid ones) but not with an app like dogfight. It makes me wonder if there was a momentary interruption in your WiFi when you were updating or something? I don't know why I'm even replying, I don't know jack about this stuff :(

After some research on Google I found a procedure to do a "Cache Partition Wipe" on my Nexus 7. I've seen this before but sounded kinda scary to me. Well today I sucked it up and tried it. It wasn't very complicated and worked exactly as they said it would. After reboot, all looked well. I've played a couple of games since with no problems. I'll probably play more later. We'll see. But seems to have cleared up the problem so far............Sgt. York :cheer:

I too use a google nexus 7 when my phones to low but haven't had any issues.
