I am a new player and was wondering if there is not a filter on the game to place like players with each other. Every game I play, I am with level 10+ players and I am a level 3. I never see any other level 3 players and was wondering why I can't play with guys on my same level so I can have some amount of success?

Somehow you have bypassed the segregated servers. Honestly, I would consider it a gift. When many of us older players started, the servers were not segregated. Your skills will advance a lot more quickly if you learn to fight the big boys (and girls).

Either way, welcome to the forum.

Well said Manny, as you said, you will have a mush greater learning curve. Watch and learn, ask questions, most players here are more than helpful.

Thats the way a lot of us learned. There were no separate servers when many of us started. Speak to people in games, ask questions, most folks will be happy to give you some tips. Be respectful and you will find many helpful folks here. Listen to what they say. Never quit, games won or lost count as points to level up and you cant get them if you are not there at the end.

Unfortunately the possible good of learning from more experienced players is now offset by the huge gap between beginners planes and top tier planes..

I think that the two new tiers of additional planes and their performance characteristics has just made the game that much harder for new players to adapt to... and throwing them in with upper level players just makes it much more likely that after them getting their buttocks kicked again & again they will leave the game rather than attempt to fight their way up the ladder.

Face it, at least you had a chance even in a Nieuport XI to shoot down upper tier planes. Now even a Spad is hopelessly outclassed!

I do pretty well in head on games with the beginner planes. Now if they want to go dogfight you (that's all you do, right?) in a newbie plane, they probably have a big problem.

Right now on the allied side im flyin nieoport 17 i am able to take out top tier planes but when i actually get in a circle with them i die but i do succeed in it though, it depends on the pilot in the plane wishbone, since your new i have the perfect place for u too find out how to dogfight like the masters go to this wikipedia page en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basic_fighter_maneuvers hope it helps

i also fly neixport 11 have boters when there is a bought spad i am upgrading it and yes planes matter when there is a circling fight . but still i always help lower level guys one of them is kyle 300.
