If you can use photoshop, gimp, or some other program like them, you can make a banner.
The width of the banner shouldn't be over 700 pixels. Well you can make it a little bit wider, but if you make it to wide some of the text in your posts wont be visual on some systems.

When you have made the banner you upload it to a website fex. Photobucket.
Then you put the link in your signature here on the forum, and vola! You got yourself a banner.
