Hello...Auroris here, I appear to have lost agility, speed and bullets for my german plane since a recent update, I would like them back as I have spent a long time getting those points, anyone I can talk with to get them back?....if not I am very close to quitting this game as all seems to have been degraded for me....

I have also seen this with my Spad. It is now nearly useless against anything other than a similar tier plane. (I still do better than 1:1 KDR against them)

I recently re-installed DF on my phone and noticed changes on my planes.
I see that I now only carry 175 rounds of ammo instead of 200. I also have a slower and more sluggish spad. I used to be able to climb while inverted. Now I drop like a rock if I fly upside down for any length of time.
What the heck?
The spad is upgraded all the way for speed and maneuverability. Heaven knows when I will be able to make enough kills to save up for a higher tier plane now with all of these new ones out. It was frustrating enough to fight the top tier planes before the downgrade. Now it is only worse. Do I have to get my credit card out again?

I was just starting improve my KDR with the Spad until these new planes came out. With the buying frenzy that followed, I'm back to negative numbers.
Perhaps I just need to press on, ignore my KDR and gather the couple points I get each time I bail out after being shot down by another D8. LOL

Cheers for the reply dude....man this is very annoying, we have spent hours accumulating those points and for what?...it's taken the interest out of the game for me, also I'm not too impressed with the new tiers of planes, to me it's called, "moving the goal posts"!...
I managed after ages and a small amount of money to get the se5, that is still ok but the German (can't think of the model), is severely pegged back, and that was completely maxxed up!.....I want my points back,...failing that, will just play with the se5..

zuperman added some performance bars on some planes.. so that is why they aren't fully upgraded.. my SE5a needed upgrades to be maxed again.. and then he moved the D.V. down a spot and put the Fokker Dr.1 in its place.. which had you owned the Albatros D.V. you would have received the Fokker Dr.1 for free but lost the tier lower D.V.

The new planes are great.. but expensive.. the Dr.1 & SE5a should take care of you for awhile but you will def want to start saving for a top tier plane again.

I would love to at least have an SE5a. I thought I could save up points to get one fairly quickly. but now I may have to pull out my credit card to make it happen. Actually it was a pretty good marketing move.

In all honesty, I am thankful for this because I have been a little less motivated to play and not been wasting so much time on my I-phone. (don't have windows 8 or a tablet )

I find myself hunting for games that don't have a lot of MORAFs in them. I respect the accomplishment a lot and hope to be there some day, but well skilled pilots with top tier planes make me feel like I'm the fish in a barrel being shot at.

I still enjoy playing. I just need to forget about my stats and try and have fun.

I know how you guys feel. Im still in a 17 on the allied side. Used to be able to hold my own but it gets tough when the Kaiser boys have more than one D8. I look for games as a German.. my DV is still quite formidable. I have learned to forget stats and just go for the hangers, carrier, whatever, and try to keep myself a small, not too threatening target. Still quite fun so long as you aren't watching the stats.

I lost a speed bar on the spad I had everything maxed out (5 speed) and now the five speed bar is gone and I didn't get my money back

Yeah, this deducting seems to annoy a lot of folks, it realy isn't fair, I'm sure the plane I had demoted had the same amount of bars that show now, exept the forth ones are uncoloured, and the tank!....I had that maxxed and now it's down to basics, I mean come on!!....(as they say on southpark)

From a business perspective it's brilliant. I bought upgrades in order to be more competitive, but that was in the past. I will muddle through with my lower tier aircraft, lose a lot of air battles, and work my way back up to a higher tier aircraft. Luckily I had enough coinage to upgrade both my 17 and D5 when the new version was pushed through. Nothing to get pissed off about, though. Its still just an internet game... and a fun one at that.

I can only imagine zuperman works hard at this, (well, maybe not I don't really know) and he deserves to get paid for his efforts.

Just my thoughts on it.

I hope you don't quit Auroris, you are a fun and skilled opponent and a good team mate.

I have exactly the same problem since i reached 45 years old.

I spent 4 million all.my coin buying and upgrading the four new planes. And after the update I lost the two top German planes. And all my planes were down.graded. I have posted and sent emails. But it seems I'm on my own.

So I have managed to play this game for months now with only spending maybe $4 or $5 for points to upgrade. That got me the spad I have been using this whole time.

I spent some points getting the lower tier DR.1 before the "downgrade" and loved it. I was quite disappointed when it vanished. After that, I only used the little E.III when flying German planes because I used all my coin for the spad.

I really do enjoy this game and feel that it is probably worth a little more than $5. So I broke down last night and purchased just enough points to get a mid tier plane. (DR.1) I have only had time to test it out for a few minutes, but it looks like I should be able to get back to at least a 1:1 KDR for now (except when I carry a bomb, or go against top tier planes. Then it feels like old times. LOL)

I hope to use this plane to acquire points I need for future upgrades. We'll see how it goes.

Great game. Definitely worth the money I have spent so far. But I do feel a little bad that one can "buy" a big advantage over someone else. It would be nice to see some kind of solution to this. I know there have been dozens of "suggestions" on the forum to address this already. I'll leave it to Zup to manage.

Hell bro I'm.a.moraf! And my best plane now is my spad. As much as I love my spad I would like my top planes again.

Well if you can hold your own in a spad against a D.VIII, you are a much better pilot than I am.

Thanks for your input guys, this sure stirred up a hornets nest, let's face it, yeah the game is fun, but some of us have had taken away points hard fought for......thinking about it now I don't mind the new upper tiers, just don't take away our fought for maxxed out planes when we have earnt them!!!!.....
