With the new update I lost my fully upgraded albatross dv
why pay to upgrrade if we lose them on update

Same thing happened to me. I posted several days ago 'help my hangar was burglarized', under support. To date I haven't received any help getting it corrected so don't expect anyone to notice. In case you do have better luck and get some assistance in correcting this bs error pls let me know.

Been a week now. No help from this support area and no replies from info@echoboom after repeated attempts. Sure leery of any future purchases that is for sure. They don't tell you your purchase is only goodntill next update

If you updated the previous top plane, you should have by default received the updated new top plane, the Dr.I red triplane, which now carries the stats the Albatros used to for speed, maneuver, and ammo capacity. Check and see; I would be surprised if not.

I am also sad about having my favorite plane downgraded in the order after months of upgrading and getting used to it.

I also had that plane upgraded as well longrifle, thanks for reply tho. they gave me a fokker III I never had as well. But the bottom line is they took something I paid for away and that is not cool. No replies (6) so far to echoboom over a week. not a good practice to get people to upgrade planes, so if I buy one of the new ones with that ideology then they could take it away and give me another i didn't want or buy, lol

If you think about it, you upgraded plane A, then bought points to upgrade plane B, the top plane. Echoboom simply swapped the planes; the upgrade to the top level plane still exists, the planes are just reordered. If you had not upgraded the top plane, you would have to upgrade the new top plane (the Dr.I triplane).

I agree that it seems like a bad trade, I would rather have kept my Albie at its upgraded status and fight triplanes with their upgraded status.

Nobody took any purchases away, they order of the planes just changed, nothing more.

So whatever was the fifth plane (and all its purchases and characteristics) are now also the same in the fifth plane (with all its purchases and characteristics). Exactly the same details, same specs, same speed, whatever you bought.

The ONLY thing that changed is that the fifth plane before was the Albatros D.V. That plane is now at a different position and the fifth plane is the Fokker Dr.I. It has whatever you purchased for the albatros, same specs, same cost, same everything. Just the plane itself has been moved because the Fokker Dr.I was placed as the worst plane in the list by mistake so in reality you were purchasing things and upgrading the fokker but you were seeing the albatros.

So basically if I repurchase the albatross and upgrades then I can lose it again on future upgrades by having it replaced with something else. I see what you are saying in the plane changes but still I lost soomething I paid for and no longer have even tho you upgraded one I had. I still have. A tweaked plane I had and don't even have basic version of one I thought I bought and upgraded. Would not have bought it if I knew you could take it away and replace it. If I buy new plane is it going to vanish and I be given another. I. Will play the cards dealt but hate to buy another if this is the way updates work. To borrow a movie phrase " I don't want fop I'm a dapper Dan man"

Now that I'm aware of mystery switches I'm clear on it sorta . Off to play

Ok I understand the crazy unexpected exchange but I not only purchased a Dv and fully upgraded it but I also did the same with the red triple wing. So what is going to replace that. Main point here is you take away two planes and replace it with one. How about either replace the second plane with a suitable substitute or a refund of expenses paid for that transaction.
