Peeps of the dogfight club i need help!
I'm a complete novice but have a couple
kills and wins. So heres my dilemma.
what's the goal? Yes u shoot down planes
but is it joining a good squadron or do
the most missions? I need i quick run
down and if anyone has some time to give
this info i would be very thankfull.

For now just concentrate on learning the skills to fly well & be an effective dogfighter/bomber/& have good landings.. and most of all have FUN!

You are just beginning so the most important thing to do is just improve your skills.. especially if you are still just in the beginners server (which is for levels 1-7.. the upper server is for levels 8-31) which once you get to level 8 there will be a RUDE Awakening for you if you 'thought' you were good...

Don't worry about joining a squadron until you reach at least level 8 and if you're smart you'll take your time and read about each squadron here on the forum.. just look at each squadron's first post on their individual squadron threads to see what they are about and if they are a good 'fit' for you.

The odject of the game is to help your team win.Joining a squad is totally up to you, joining a squad seys that you fly by rules and always help out a squad member;and most important no bad language and have fun.

Ok first, Zebra you thief, you stold my lines! jk

Zebras right, just focus on getting better before thinking of joining a squad. Fly with honor! What i mean is dont drop in a bombing mission, never spawnkill or spawn tank kill. And again have fun and be nice.

Check out every squads thread, read the rules get to know the Dogfight community. You just might fit in some where in here. Lots of squads to choose from. So take your time while getting better at flying and learn how each squad is. Just my two cents!

I very much agree with Ghost! But to get to know people like there family, I had my best friend die in front of me get hit by a car and passed away the misfits pulled together put a special ribbon on my banner and stayed prayers and blessings, so make friends don't worry about squadrons to much just fly your plane make friends and watch it all unfold right before your eyes.

Have fun, interact with the other pilots and get to know them.
Be nice and don't use bad language.
Improve your skills and fly with honor.
If you do all above, you most certainly will be invited to join several squads.
There is no rush to join a squad so take your time and go for the squad you feel is the best one for you.
To jump between squads isn't recommend.
Be loyal to the one you join.
But most important is to have fun.
Some say it's just a game, I beg the difference.
It's more then just a game.

I dunno, still waiting for the book to arrive.....I sent Davey all my credit card info and told him to just take whatever he needs to cover it......hmmmmm, still no book. Sniff...

Very sorry to hear this Curtis shoe, its wicked how DAVY can jump and take advantage of new pilots who don't know his deceptive ways, sry to say, you will never see the book and you will never see your money again. Now my advice is to cancel your Credit card as soon as possible, call a lawyer, and take DAVY to court. I'll stand with you as a witness against DAVY.

The only thing a squadron is good for is taking a few bullets for you, trust me.

for now. I don't get the missions and the bars and region
thing? I don't expect to learn it all in 20 mins, but how does
the whole choosing missions go, as in is the different regions
i.e east Europe, Asia. What are the differences? I should actually
stop yapping and get out and fly. See u up there folks!!

All that refers to is the physical locations of the servers around the world.. 'usually' you pick the one or two nearest you to play in for better connection speed & less lag.. however, the bars refer to how full each server is and when it is in the red zone it has a lot of players and you can sometimes expect to see some lag, but not always. And you can play in any of the servers.. it's just a loose rule of thumb.
