Zuperman, you could check my account? Some pilots like sam 22, say I'm cheating because i make the turn so fast. I have an spad and the free plane fokker. If my account has an error, it was not on purpose. Im play in a ipad.

I do some tactical turns, which for obvious reasons will not reveal, but it is nothing more than simple gravity and physics and situational awareness. But if in fact my account has an error, then they are not my "tactical turns", is the account.

LOL Ziza! I get accused of the very same thing! Even wig has said I turn unbelievably fast! (though during that very same mission I was thinking it was HIM that was turning unbelievably fast! ) Yet neither him nor McFate nor Soos or dozens & dozens & dozens of others have any problem with shooting me down.. so how could I be cheating? (& unlike you I play on a laptop, so it's definitely not the device!) If I was cheating I certainly suck at it, unlike those players like Predator FAB & a handful of others that just fly along in a straight line while literally 100's & 100's of rounds are shown hitting them yet they're seemingly bulletproof!!! Now THAT'S Cheating! Maybe if we were cheaters we should take lessons from them? lol!

And yeah, if some pilots don't bother to learn even some basic military aerial tactics and maneuvers that we have how is that us 'cheating'?

I'm not making any complaints or judgements about tactics or skills here but there have been many times where I have seen Ziza, Zebra Up and Fadaco turning faster than I can in straight, arching turns. (Pulling up on "the stick") . I'm not talking about the burst of speed you can pull from using gravity and a centrifugal slingshot nor a perfectly timed brief dip it the throttle and a hard pull, I'm talking about when I'm on your six, move per move, and you can suddenly pull away much faster than I can in my Zebra DV.

I'd like to think that I'm a better than average player, no? I feel that after a full year of playing against every sort of flyer and seeing all sorts of lag I would be pretty good at recognizing something out of the ordinary. You are not the only ones who have this "enhanced performance" but you are certainly among the most skilled of those who seem to have it. You are not bulletproof , nor are you "teleporting" so if course you can be shot down just like everyone else. You just seem to have higher turning performance than "normal". I don't think it would provide any advantage at all to head on shooting.

You don't seem to have it all of the time, in fact not at all in the last few days. You all still have very fast maneuverability due to your high level of skill, but lately it does not seem "supernatural" anymore. I was wondering if things seem "sluggish" to you lately.

I don't know what may have caused this and I do not believe that you are doing anything wrong, but I sincerely believe that this is a real issue here in the game and that there are some players who, unfortunately, have resentful feelings over it.


BTW, I don't have any problem with any of you £s. I like seeing you in game, even red, and if I switch from the blue side to the red side it is to help balance out a game. It is out of respect for your skills (and to face the challenge of a "enhanced" opponent) that I sometimes switch. Unfortunately I often don't make it back when I try to switch so sometimes I may seem to be abandoning the game when that is not my intention.

Well McFate, me & wig had a long discussion about this very same topic in a thread called "What do you think about Windows Users?" (or something like that) & to be fair, he made good points but from my perspective, (that being of a guy that still gets killed as often as anyone else) I don't see 'em when I am flying my planes, I turn the same as always... I DO however see something along the lines of what is described as uber-fast turning planes from time to time.. regardless of the types of planes too.. sometimes a moraf's Albatros D.V.a (which for the LONGEST TIME I thought had an extra maneuvering star! ) as well as seeing it occur with a flying Red Brick turning like a rocket on rails.. (this from the notoriously slowest turning plane in Dogfight?!)
Yet I think these these hyper-speed turning planes are just a matter of perspective, and not due to some enhanced attribute of the planes.. perhaps a combination of lag induced 'catch-up' & graphics view.

Needless to say, despite all 3 of the pilots you spoke of being from the Lafayette Escadrille, we do not possess some secret code or hack that I share with only pilots in my squadron.. first reason why not is that it would be dishonorable & cheating.. and secondly, both Ziza & FADACO were awesome pilots BEFORE joining the Lafayette Escadrille!

& btw McFate, it's always nice to see you in a game whether you are red or blue.. but I prefer blue!

Ahhh this topic. I have noticed the same things as McFate. I don't know if it would be the keyboard users having an all or none effect when pressing the arrow keys or what. I flew a turning fight with a red baron and I lost...I was in my dv...I don't think he was out maneuvering me because I watched him...Just flew in circles. I'm not sure if that's an effect or glitch when platforms compete against platforms, but I do notice it. Like McFate said, head on, we're equal. I have also noticed the ability to shoot through mountains. On my screen, my opponent and I are separated by the top is the mountain. My opponents screen shots me clearly visible.

Hi all, I do not in anyway want to cause harsh feelings either but here is my take on this subject, please bear with me as I have trouble putting this to words: I play on an Android tablet. To maneuver I tilt the device in the direction I want to go. I adjust throttle by sliding my thumb on the screen up or down. These inputs to the device are physical movements of or on the device. I have never played this game on a PC but as far as I can tell to do that you either push buttons on a keyboard, move a joystick, or push buttons on a Xbox controller. To me those inputs to turn can be made quicker than one tilting a device. I imagine this as to someone typing on a keyboard or pressing buttons to adjust ailerons and elevator in a sequence such as pressing 1 2 3. Again, I have no experience doing this nor am I saying is any easier or harder than tilting a device. I am just saying its much different, like digital is to analog. This is why I suspect W8 users can maneuver faster than a tablet user. I also suspect tablet users have an advantage in long range aiming due to this. iPad users can aim from chute easier too. Each type of device has its strenghts and weaknesses, I just try to exploit each as necessary. I think it's great we can all play the same game from different platforms, really quite amazing.

But neither FADACO nor Ziza are on laptops.. one is on an Ipad, the other a tablet & sometimes phone.. and I just got my butt handed to me in a bombing mission a short while ago with wig & Tuck & others... so I truly think it's a perception thing in most cases.. but that shooting thru mountains thing is a neat trick! I would love to learn that on LOL!

Hey zebra no accusing any one of any thing but there are player like.ziza. who just turn so fast you can't turn with them you your self have that t same ability. I've played against I pad users and no one else turns like that so no one is accusing any one of anything so you don't have to jump up and cry that we are saying your or any one is cheating. Really look.at what's being said before you start to rant and rave I like ziza and most of your squad threir fne pilots in Their own right but of it it a platform to platform issue can it be fixed before some accuses some one of dropping when we know Their not

Ok here goes, I have 2 devices now, my ipad and the samsung 2 that I got a couple of months ago, I bought the samsung because I'm trying to perfect my dogfighting skills.

On my samsung i can indeed dogfight much better, it seems I can get behind someone much easier and shoot them, it seems to be much easier to aim as planes are not flying around at thousand miles an hour. On my ipad planes are going so fast that I cant aim and on the samsung it seems to be under control more. Easy to follow and easier to aim.

However on the samsung i lose my ability to be as good on the head to head shot. My ipad is great head to head.

I never use the samsung anymore, I perfer the head to head game and I'm learning better on the ipad in dogfighting.

Well darraxx I am not "rant & rave" or "jump up and cry saying anyone in particular is accusing me of cheating" I am here supporting my pilot Ziza who has been accused of cheating, by Sam22 amongst others & of which he is NOT guilty of.. & I know this feeling.. it's not nice, so I commiserate with him, as I HAVE BEEN ACCUSED of having an "unfair advantage" or 'cheating' or something similar in the recent past due to whatever it is various players think in their heads.. which of course is ridiculous.

There ARE however cheats in this game.. many, if not most of us have ran across them at some point or another.. players invulnerable to bullets.. totally bulletproof who just fly on with hundreds of hits registering on them.. or those that the moment you start firing at them either 'disappear' or seem to 'freeze in place' by using a lag switch or something then suddenly while you have them in YOUR SIGHTS they shoot you down from BEHIND YOU! Now THAT is cheating.

Do you have any idea how much it SUCKS to be thought a cheater when you AREN'T CHEATING and are just working your butt off to work your way up the rankings and be the best player you can be? Well let me tell you.. it isn't a nice feeling.

Ok I know your not cheating and don't forget over paid my dues I know I pads and tabs are faster to respond to commands all.we want to know is why some.pilots are flying around like they have jets and can it be resolved and there are more pilots than just in your squad that have this ability when you run into a.wing comm that has a bomb and.he's out flying everyone in the game we want to know why. and another thing, I'm sure that if you can follow step me in a turn Mc fate, it's because I'm from up or down and I have impulse gravity, i lasted no more than 1 second on a sustained turn

Lol, it's true that you rarely hold still long enough for me to follow you in a turn. Have you noticed , though, there are times I can stay on your six for short periods and manage to get a tracking shot and other times where I have to constantly evade and hope for two good snap shots. Usually it's the latter. Either way, I know that if I hold still for a moment I'm dead.

It is interesting that you and Fadaco have often used the same account . Do you use the same WiFi too? I first noticed Fadaco when she was flying for the Bombshell Babes as "Ziza". I was amazed at how tough she was flying the Red Barron. Truly on a competitive level with the best turn fighters in the whole game before she was level 15.

I don't doubt that is possible but the coincidence that both of you display such remarkable skill/ability (with the same sort of strength/style) does raise some questions. It was not until I saw both of you in game at the same time that I was first convinced you were not one person. (I know that you have flown on her account at times)

. Well, Andy has been my neighbor for 24 years, we've known since we were kids and wi fi in her house does not get to her room, and has always used mine. Just my two cents... I have definitely seen and been victim of the "super hero" planes. I was in a game with you not to long ago zebra and was amazed by the speed and maneuverability you displayed. I could not even get close to hitting you. Thank god my 3yr old climbed up in my lap and caused a disconnection otherwise I might have suffered permanent psychological damage...hmmm that sounds pretty convincing, I think I will stick to that story ..It's got to be a combination of things: device, processor speed, type of control input, lag, the vernal equinox, which way the wind is blowing, the occurrence of a lunar eclipse, whether or not I've showered, the length of time since I last prayed to the gods of dogfight (sorry wig, I'll report to the church of M.O.M for my penance). Anyways I love playing you guys cause you make me better and worse all at the same time

Well Buck it doesn't work for the arrow keys.. or at least it didn't for me. Back when I very first started this game and finally got the flying Red Brick I was dismayed at how slow it turned and how often I was shot down.. so I checked into this very same thing thinking using a keyboard was a huge liability going up against tilt steering platforms.. unfortunately doing this for the arrow keys it made absolutely no difference.. now for typing the word 'speed' well the ee's doubled nice and quick lol.. but the pretty red target didn't turn the least little bit faster lol!

Well to be honest Buck I don't think it would make the least bit of difference as I have heard from zuperman that the physical attributes for each of the different planes is limited according to the individual types and what the game/programming itself allows them.. NOT what platform you fly with... BUT.. after seeing planes fly around seemingly bullet-proof I do wonder if that's truly written in stone.

But I enjoy playing the game as it is.. and if I could get some sort of unfair advantage I wouldn't use it anyways as it would be both dishonorable as well as take the joy out of the game for me.. I ENJOY pitting myself against other skilled players and if I had a unfair advantage like a lag switch or being bullet-proof or having other enhanced abilities it would just suck the joy completely out of this game for me.

Don't laugh, but I enjoy being shot down by another skilled player.. especially if they're from my own squadron, but anyone who has the skill or luck in bringing me down deserves that brief moment of joy at doing it.. it's the same way that I feel when I bring down another skilled player.. I wouldn't steal that feeling from anyone!

That is what I was trying to say in my first post. The Windows 8 settings do not affect arrow keys. The arrow keys are not designed for typing but navigating so they have no delay built in whatsoever. This is a feature of all PC and laptop keyboards.
