The game is not working on my kindle fire HD.

I just got an automatic update to 4.4.45. I tried it and it was messed up so I erased the app from the device and reloaded from the Amazon app store.

It gives me options for keyboard or on screen joystick. NO TILT CONTROLS!

Exact same problem here. Tried reinstalling. No go. Kindle Fire.

Same here...now I'm have the beginning stages of withdrawals. any chance of reverting to this previous version until the bugs are worked out??? It's just not playable..the on-screen joystick for the tank and rifle man are sloppy and worse for controlling the plane. There is no in game chat box...going in the usual shot brings up the keyboard, but you can't see what you're typing.

I saw Mike Cann' s post so I reinstalled and low, it worked!

I can play again!! Needed my DF fix bad.

Confirmed on the Kindle Fire (non-HD), newest update fixes the problem. Thanks, Zup!

New troubles:

I'm now able to play but it very glitchy.

Some issues are:
-It takes around a full minute for a game to load after selecting a plane.
-the airstrip and hangars appear after I have spawned in on bare grass. (Even when respawning) (sometimes causes crash)
-the enemy soldier in a chute is a speck, like a single grain of sand.
-My soldier is invisible to me. (Only a rifle)
-water looks better but at some angles I can't tell how far away it is.
-lag is quite bad, others complain of me "jumping around" kills are often delayed.
-spawning on a carrier seems to make lots of lag. (Not really sure of this, haven't tried it enough to say for sure)
-tank view is different and tank.seems slow. (Turret view seems normal)
-machine gun sounds are very irregular. Sounds like misfires but shots seem okay.
-I can adjust the size of the name tags but the settings have reset to full size every time I go to graphics settings.
-in the pre-game menus, the top button seems to be darkened as if it has already been selected.


I have not yet seen a ctc since update allowed me to fly again.
I don't think I'm going to play much for a while. I'll check in from time to time on the forum and occasionally in game to see if it's better but I'm going to use my time to play more music for a while.

I still love the game but it's not running well enough right now to be worth the time investment.

This newest update is good and bad for my kindle hdx, I now have a slider to adjust banner size, I can now see the town and statue/duck, BUT the bad is my Tank comes in and barrel rolls over on its side and stays upside down, the water is a black and white flashing grid, the WORST IT HAS EVER BEEN, at least before it was black or a flat grey that changed. My bullets seem sporadic and everything seems a little sluggish. When I parachute a big black glitch odd shaped square covers a big part of screen. I get crashed spawning in all the time also... that's all I can think of right now, lol

It is getting better.

Still:

+/- one full minute to load from the time I select a plane. Game sometimes has ended before I spawn in. Then I get "connection lost". I can tell by the chat that people can see that I have joined long before I spawn in.

Tank falls over on its side upon spawn. Strangely, I can get it back on tracks using controls but still cannot drive.

Lag over water is pretty bad. I can see how far away it is now.

My soldier is invisible and enemy soldier is tiny.
