Reading forum posts b4 registering and joining I kept seeing the mention of have fun. I stil do for that fact. I have had allot of fun in the year I've been playing but in the past several weeks that has increasingly diminished some what.
It seems like whenever I get the time and head over to df to play. Every game, every server I enter its 5 or 7 to 1 me. I've been up against worse odds in real combat and faired well. When entering off sided games I'll attempt to do my best in hopes other blues may soon come on board. Going up against lop sided odds doesn't frighten me and hey, challenge is a good part of the fun.
Not so! Not here! Not so because 9.5 out of 10 times these out numbered games are made up of spawn killing poor sportsman. I'm sorry but popping up on a runway and sucking lead before I can even advance the throttle, continually is just not fun in my game play book.
I just don't understand how it is fun for the bunch of cheating reds all with muzzles pointed at that place of blue spawning on the runway ether. Unless they'er true low life's. If it's points gain to get ahead then that tells me the type of worthless individuals you all are. It tells everyone who comes in contact with you what an outstanding person of good moral character you are. You might as well stamp it on your fore heads. If that's how you find success and happiness in this world I feel sorry for you and only hope some day you might just figure it out and make an honest change. I'm here to meet good people and have fun and will not be part of your level of cesspool enjoyment. Go to the sewers to have your fun.

Thanks for saying what I have been feeling as I move forward in this game. It is really beginning to be difficult to pick a map and feel excited about the game as enter the game wondering who is lurking in a hangar to shoot at me or watching someone bomb our own hangars or shootdown our team members! Thanks again!

It is most frustrating. I guess all we can do is keep the faith and hopefully the df personnel will get to The bottom of this mess and flush these clowns. Take care and hope to see ya in a game soon.

you realize that if you are in a game that has 7-1 ratio and it is bomb the base, that spawn killing is enivitable as planes will be getting closer to the base every time your knocked down and with carrying a bomb I'll shoot anything red on runway or air to hit those hangars. With 6 others doing same there's your spawn killing.!

Oh ! And every game it's always your the lone blue! Rubbish!!
Odds would suggest that would happen every 5 to 7 games. We have a saying where I'm from,. Get your hand off it and get off your high horse.

As for dealing with spawnkillers, are you aware that putting on brakes on the runway makes you immune? Zuperman put this in last year for just this reason. Brakes on, look around, time your takeoff. (Careful not to nose over... time your throttle up.) Take off, dump the bomb, kill the spawner, and land again to reload your bomb. Take off again, bomb their hangars, win the game.

@Heff, I don't play often these days, but 5 out of 10 games I play, ether I am the lone blue against 4-7 reds or there is a lone red against 4-7 of us. If there is a lone red I usually leave or switch, if I stay I never spawn kill and I avoid their fire while they're taking off, instead of shooting them. If I'm the lone blue I try my best to fight them off but eventually they bomb.

Sometimes pilots are fair but there's a big difference between spawn killing and clearing the way for bombers, and a lot of the time pilots spawn kill repeatedly!

@Manfred, That works well, but not when you are gained up on by 4-7 reds who forgot their manners back at base. Lol

@mach, I think you are exaggerating a bit that it's every game you are in, but I agree that the amount of unfair games are very high. Thank you for posting.

Hello Heff, thank you for responding however from your responses it appears you may have gotten alittle irritated and of course you made it more than clear your reasons, admitting you are a spawn killer. Well I apologize for that and meant nothing personal to anyone. I can also tell it may have something to do with your second response. You not only question what I said but you changed what I said. Now since I don't know you I'll give you the benefit of doubt and take it that you just didn't read or understand what I stated very well. I did not say I am always the lovely blue in every game. I said I've been playing dog fight for a yr and always had fun but lately it seems when entering a game the sides have been heavily lopsided. No biggie could just be your level of the English language.
On spawn killing You clearly have a different interpretation. That could also be how you interpret English or haven't kept up with the current problems and situations with intentional game ruiners'. So I'll help you out and try to make it simple for u. Game rules require that if your over your enemy's base as players respawn you must allow them to get air Bourne, at least wheels off the ground. Ask Zup or any of the game officials if you don't believe me.
Oh, let me more clarify all the experiences I had being killed just entering a game and/or respawning, I was immediately shot several times in the back before engine start. Another fact Heff, they were not always bomb enemy hangar games ether. Some were dog fight, carrier games, as well.
You stated that in those type games your going to take out everything in your way to accomplish that mission including planes just entering on the runway b4 they can start their engine wether from their,12 or 6 with your 6 teammates. I agree on a serious focus and tactics to accomplish the mission but not killing a player who just entered or respawned with you and 5 or 6 teammates on the bomb run. Dude go ahead and bomb if your aim is good that aircraft is not going to stop you especially approaching from their 6 o'clock. Why do you see that as an immediate threat with or without your your 6 back shooting buds.
Further more this is a game not real air combat sheees and that requires good sportsmanship.
Let me return your kind favor and share with you what they call that where I come from, COWARDICE, SCARED, YELLOW.
I sure would like to think this response was positive and I was able to help you clean up your game play alittle. Again thanks for your response and hopefully we may fly in the same game in the future, providing you'll allow me to take off or at least let me start the engine.

Thanks...I know Zuperman works diligently to improve the game. He takes lots of input and constructive criticism to make our time in the game more enjoyable. He also is improving world chat by instituting "instant auto mute" to mute people who cannot manage to control themselves. Things will improve and I will continue to enjoy the game despite the few who try to make others miserable for their own gain. Thanks again. Check 6!
