pls i dont know how to land.
FEAR NOT! Uncle Porkins has you covered!
The runway and the carrier both have twice as much length as you need, actually 4 times as much once you get better at it - a can actually harrier land my 5a and DV now, whether you're supposed to be able to or not lol!
Best method when you're learning is to get lined up nice and straight, when your plane is still over the grass, kill the throttle and glide in nice and gradual. When you're about to touch down, pull up hard so the nose doesn't hit first - you will probably bounce a lot until you get smooth but you'll get the hang of it, just try not to touch the ground if you're much over 60mph - you can land much faster but some quick corrections are usually needed.
If you are coming in for a landing and see that you're going too fast, you can pull up to scrub off speed and then ease back down for the landing. If you are coming in and find you cut the throttle too early and are going too slow, its okay to touch down on the grass and roll onto the runway (doesn't work so good for carrier landings).
Hope this helps, if anyone else can offer more or anything useful that I've missed, please post and help Jude.G out?
