Hello everyone!
I am playing this game for about six months and during this time I can't say that I had been such a good pilot but I didn't care because most of all I enjoyed playing.

For about three weeks on late August I couldn't play due to an accident and when I came back everything was different. Everything looks better now but I can't play.

what I mean,
there is not a dogfight that I can win. Everyone can shoot me down before I can even see the enemy plane.
I am flying behind an enemy, I aim, I shoot and I shoot and I shoot and... nothing.
I can see the bullets going on him but nothing happens.
Some times there is a confirmation that I hit the enemy, I see smoke coming out, I see second confirmation but no killing.
Even when I aim on a stoped tank I need three or four passes to destroy it because no more than two bullets can hit it every time.
To kill a parachutist... I can't even imagine how.

On the other hand It seems a piece of cake for someone to bring me down with just a single bullet without aiming and to kill me in parachute with a second bullet.
Enemies' planes can fly around my plane like flies while I try to make an 180 degree turn.
I feel like a Dakota among F 16.
And believe me I am not such a bad player.

I hope I gave you a picture of the situation.
I don't mind that I payed for the app or for buying two airplanes, it bothers that I don't enjoy playing any more.
I don't want to be in the list of the best players, I just don't want to feel stupid and useless in the game.
Should I use an i...something or a W8 divice to play instead of a 4.1.1 android tablet and a 4.2.2 android phone???

NO DO NOT GET A W8 DEVICE! I repeat , DO NOT GET a W8 DEVICE!
Make sure you have a good WiFi connection, update to latest 4.40 version, turn off detailed explosions, shadows , and clouds.

When dogfighting, dropping your bomb will make you more manueverable.

And when aiming at enemies not shooting at you, you have to compensate for their flight and your bullets flight by aiming ahead of them

I do all these and I have a good WiFi.

Try reloading the game fresh from the store. Make sure your cache is empty before playing. Alot of droid guys say having an app killer helps.

Maybe you're playing against all W8 users?

Shooting in a dogfight is more difficult now. I've notice the leads are different you have to take with your shots. Just have to kind of relearn the game after each update.

Long shots are easier with a tablet. I would recommend iPad. it takes longer to get updates but they seem to be less flawed. Bad news is when the update is bad you are stuck for a week or 2. NEVER update until you read the forum.

All devices have some sort of bug or problems with the game.

I thought about a windows tablet myself. Dual purpose for game and work. But the windows 8 bugs are terrible right now. So it's a no go for now.

Maybe some of the android guys can suggest a tablet.

Trust me I totally understand your situation!!! You literally wrote exactly my situation. I have always struggled with having my bullets hit, except for a day or two after some of the updates. For the most part I am just waisting my time flying around shooting, it looks like im hitting even will say im hitting, but then they ether kill me first or someone else gets the credit. You can't say much about it in a game because then it sounds like your just being a baby (I have my moments with this to) and cant handle the competition. I sit amongst some of the greatest players in this game however if you look at my stats it will leave you scratching your head. With that being said the only way that I have been able to do this is by.
1) playing alot I mean alot!
2) strategy and tactics

Early on whenever I would lose connection I would use that time to practice. If I was in a tank I would drive around and try to learn the best way to use the tank, back then I was lucky because most players didnt worry about them much, so that is the area I got descent at. If I was in a plane I would work on ways to try and get away from players. Its not so bad now, but for the longest time any plane I was in, would not be able to cut back on any other plane. Not on any of them! Zilch nottah nothing "nope that noob just cut back and killed you"!!! Every single time! I have put this game down a couple of times over it, so I understand your frustration.
I wish I had a simple fix that I could give you, but all I can really say is keep at it and your not alone.

P.S. NO windows 8!!!!!!!!! I would rather suck then have to use one of those piles of trash.

But I want to know when killing strangers became not fun? I enjoy it, a lot, but I will agree I'm seeing the same things and I slowly working past them, as max said you now need more lead time and as for takeing hits... Yes I hear one and boom I'm down but I'll get that worked out as well..... I hope

Curious as to which android devices you use as this game seems to require a bit off kick.

Personaly(no offence Apple users)i feel newer Apple users have a much easier time of it,ive tried a freinds ipad4 and i dont have to be so precise about where i shoot where as i have to hit a pixel on android.The parachute aiming is smooth not a drifting cross hair as i get.If you get a bad update with Apple everone gets it and everyone will get a fix whereas android different ones have different problems fixes work for some and not for others.So if i wasnt an Apple hater(the company)I'd probably go ipad.
The one hit kills are annoying probably an apple user lol sorry.I can't explain them.
I've also hit people lots without a kill,i blame their lame internet or they could be throttling on purpose.

All these fancy graphics look real nice but hinder the game.Game olay over graphics any day.I mean you don't look at the mantelpiece when ya poking the fire

Maybe you will get the new os 4.4 coming soon,it is suppose to help in slower devices

Don't feel so bad, i just had a few days where I could not hit nothing either, IT WAS NO FUN. Sometimes i just quit until the next day

I have games where I just cannot miss, no matter what I do. Then I have games that i shoot and shoot and shoot and shoot and very few kills.

Most of the time a game will start out bad and after 10 minutes it will start improving and then i kick bootie.

It's just weird huh.

It might be just me but it seems like after every update it takes me a few days to get the grove back. It getts harder for me to push though the adjustment period every time. I get mad want to throw my phone so I have to stop and give it a day then pick the game up and try to push on.

I think I 'll start teamkilling to satisfy my wild insticts.
Btw I use a pretty fast dual core, 10.0 inch tablet (not Samsung) and never had problems before.
