Does anyone know how the rankings are calculated? My skill level and ranking are not compatible, I think that my ranking should be a lot lower. There a numerous players that are ranked quite a but lower that are clearly much better than myself. I am curious to know how the rankings are figured out. What would make more sense to me is the ratio of kills to deaths, I know that it isn't done this way because my ranking would be much lower. It appears to me that the rankings are based on flying time and not on skill.

I feel that I am an average pilot at best and have a poor K/D ratio. I have looked at the stats and feel that completing missions win or lose helps alot in the rankings. Dino

Its based on your xp. Some one could never get a kill in there life and die thousands of times but they could still be a higher rank than the guy that kills everything. The xp from getting shot down and surviving in the parachute adds up after a while as well as well as points from zeps.

...and bombing hangars...cant forget those things....

Zeppling points are not isolated in the rankings like kill/death....except in total points.

Winning games is important....

also....not crashing helps your points.....
