I may have discovers a new glitch tonight. I dont know if it is some sort of hack or a w8 glitch. In three separate games tonight i witnessed enemy planes fly from thier base to ours in less than 8 seconds, drop a bomb, drop another, and then return to thier base, reload, and back for a double drop..... I was just in a btb mission with billy the kid from the 121st and a Marshall i didnt know named noob, a WC named jimtom where all eight of our hangers were destroyed in about 60 seconds....


Second, they can't seem to be shot down as they seem to be moving at about 400 knos

Same here..they get two trips in the time it takes me to fly across map once.

I am having bomb problems too! This is on android though. Just keeps falling off the plane.

My plane passed it's MOT yesterday as well!

I've had bomb issues as well, noticed sometimes a bomb doesn't get fitted to your plane on BtB and BtC games. Go up and make to their base only to find out the bomb is not there.

I only hope that the rocket plane glitch (very well could be a hack as well) gets patched before it becomes a bad problem.

Getting back to ghostrider's original post, I saw a guy named "iamop" sitting on the carrier in front of me blocking the way (I had to roll through him slowly), then I flew off and told him to get off the carrier, then at mid field he passed me at mach 2, dumped a bomb on the enemy carrier in the distance, flew back past me at mach 2, and went back to our carrier. All in under 30 seconds.

Yeah I saw this twice, same player. He sank my carrier, I did hit him once, but he flew so fast he was hard to see.

Well there comes a time in every mans life that things start to drop... There's really nothing that can be done about this except eating right and trying to stay heathy and active..... But if something does Drop un expectedly don't worry to much... The odds were you wasn't gonna get to use it anymore anyway.....

get me the usernames of the guys if you see them again, i'm going to add server login in detail for their accounts so I can see if it's a server bug or they are doing something fishy

Zup, looks like ALL Windows 8 users are doing it - not by purpose, I believe.
I bought Windows 8 version of Dogfight, but I am not playing it yet for two reasons:
a) because of this big lag (if it can be called a lag);
b) because it is unplayable using keyboard (still waiting for flyght-stick compatibility).

I don't believe that "hunting" this or that player will solve this issue - it needs a more general, unpersonal approach.

That depends on the user. If they are playing and don't know what's going on and quit because of it that's all fine, no since hunting them. It's the users that know about the issue and take advantage of it to rank up (to boost so to speak), those are the ones that need hunted and ran off.

But since ALL Windows 8 users ARE LAGGING/GLITCHING, there is no reason to "hunt", not even those that are aware of this issue. OK, they KNOW that they are glitching, and OK, they are taking advantage of this glitch - but who can blame them for this? It is NOT their fault!!! They paid for the game, they logged in, so they have the right to play. It's up to the developers to fix it, not to the players to be punished by their gaming experience.

The idea of segregating Windows 8 users on a dedicated server is a possible "solution", but it would ruin the game, since there are too few Windows 8 players - and chances are little for their encounters online.

I sincerely hope this Windows 8 adventure can reach a stable phase, cuz I spent money buying a license of the OS itself and a flight-stick just to play this very game. But, unfortunately, to my eyes, it looks like it is a serious candidate to obsolescence (hope I am wrong)...

I will continue to leave games if there is a Win8 player who is ghosting and killing (either side), because *I* also paid for the game and have the right to enjoy good games with others. As an extension of this thought, if I am already invested in a good game with others, and a Win8 player enters and starts to ruin the game, I will continue to make them aware of what is happening, and if they ignore my pleas and continue to ruin that game, I will do as I have done and ask them to leave (some do listen). If they don't, I will run them off.

I don't see a whole lot of Win8 players complaining to Z in the forum about this. Therefore it is up to us to get Z feedback. As he said, gice him player names. Z, "iamop" is one that I observed flying back amd forth with great speed, like all of his flying data got lagged andsaved up, then streamed out to the players in fast-forward speed.

The first time i saw it it was HAMMER doing it i asked wth was going on and got no response, the third game it was [M] billy the kid and a Marshall by the name NOOB something, they said they were still on the runway and didnt do it, I don't think if it was a hack that it was them doing it.
