hi Hodge, there is a tab with a search feature.

at the top of this you will see "Index" "Recent Topics" etc then "Search"

Go the the search tab, then you can search by user or string.

Thanks, hammer_tool.

I see there are indeed the tabs when you access from a PC.
But I do not see them when I use my tablet.
So my question is, can you search when using a tablet?

ahhh, there is a mobile version of the forum, which is pretty basic, but there is an option to use the normal site somewhere. I selected that option do I can see the tab now on my phone and on my galaxy tab.

Scroll to bottom and there is option to change it out of phone/tablet/whatever version
