With the latest version, we now have certain invisible planes that shoot ya up and down all over the place. Zup, hook me up with one of those please, I promise Ill only use it against meanie davy and waxin max

Had it happen to me a bit too. Seems like weird lag. You get shot down 5 minutes.after you last saw that player.

I have notied lowranks flying around blue base and shoting at thin air, and all of a sudden a message pops up that they have shot down a read player thats far infront. So far from blue base that there is no way in h€££ that they can have shot them. Then a while later it happens again.
I have seen it happen a few times and the shoter have allways bin lower ranks but that might just be a coincedence.
I tend to get a bit suspicius when low ranks camp around blue base and stay to see if they are going to be traitors.

Your right bell it is low ranked players i got killed loads yesterday with invisible players.

It happened to me with stache yesterday, so I don't think it's low ranks, just lag, and while they shot you on their screen, they are lagging so much, it only registers on the lobby half a minute later

Oh no no no my good man...stache lag is nothing compared to the invisible lag of the low ranks...its so bad they are completely invisible, when they fire at you, you will die 3 games later...damn muppets!

I saw this a few days ago. Three letter low ranker (dos or something like that). Bomb Carrier, no one on radar, I'm near a blue heading across mid field, and suddenly the blue is in flames, reportedly by this low ranker. About 20 seconds later, same happens to me.

The plot thickens...I too had this type of mystery death from an invisible noob...only happened once in an FFA game, but definitely a weird experience..."You were brought down by..." so an so you never saw ... If its lag its pretty extreme....

I will second the Junior plane. He doesn't speak English and I don't think he knows what is happening. To them it looks normal, I guess. But we had 5 planes going out at the same time and Junior is firing away into the air. A few seconds later a red goes down in flames and no one saw him.

May just be a new feature of Z's. Maybe an alternate reality game? You just have to find the black hole and fly into it.

Why can't we just have the earlier version, 4-5 updates ago? When I started out, there were no invisible planes nor invisible walls and tanks could actually kill planes when you hit them directly. There were no spawn crashes either. Game ran smoothly. If I wanted cool graphics, there are millions of other options. I like the gameplay of DF but its deteriorating rapidly

Another thing I've seen that will get you is after you get shot down your plane wreck lies on the ground for a loooooooong time. If someone shoots the plane after you have already spawned it kill you.

There are two guys with two letters as there names that will get you with the phantom death. Two capital letters I can't remember what they are. Fly around mid map shooting at nothing. All of the sudden bam you die 3 or 4 times in a row. Very aggravating to be alone across the map and die over and over.
