I always had Apple products for my mobile needs. Now that the game is PC based also I was wondering how this will work. Purchasing different versions of the game aside. Will I be able to log on as Kevy on all my devices?
I was holding off updating to Windows 8 but your going to force my hand :woohoo: .

yes you use the same info in all platforms. It will retrieve all your multiplayer info.
The practice mode is not stored at the server at the moment, so that is always lost. Probably I should include it too on the server...

About the link, it's on the announcement section, the win8 version of the game is at apps.microsoft.com/windows/app/dogfight/...a4-885a-d5ae4d00e1e5

any should work. All my programming and testing was done with a $5 gamepad i've bought at a deli to make sure even the crappiest one should do it.
Depends on what platform it uses you can use different methods. Windows 8 has been difficult to release because the system runs on regular desktops but it also runs on desktops with touchscreens (so you can touch and fire like a tablet), on tablets where you play like an iphone/android and on devices that can do both at your choice (move the tablet or plugin a gamepad). It was pretty complex to try it out on all but it should work in any machine and the controls should adapt to the device.

Mac at the moment is not supported. You would need to install win8 on it on a dual boot.

We are working to see how to include it on Macs, but it won't be there at least for 1 or 2 months, depending on how the funding goes from the other platforms.

Is a Windows 7 compatible version a definitely NO?
And what about Linux? Can it run under Wine?

(No, Dent; not THAT kind of wine...) :silly:
