I've got a few complains about the report system. The myth goes, that once you submit a report, you've magically banned the other person. So people began complaining that "the enemy" is reporting others and banning them from game that way.

Myths are cool, but they can also be deadly.

When someone hits the report button, all it does is send an email to us, the moderators, with the chat log and your reason for reporting this person. Absolutely nothing else happen.

Then we get the email, check it out and if it is a non-sense report, we simply ignore it. Otherwise we take action.

The deadly part is... that if you send reports constantly and there is no reason for it can get you banned yourself for trying to push innocent people out of the game.

So... yes, do report if there is a real reason for it. Sending reports without a reason most likely will just make you lose credibility in all future reports.

I've never seen it, either. However, there have been times when I've been shot down and upon respawn at base or carrier--I've seen thar "reporting" notification and status percent bar at the top of my screen.
Never knew what that was...

Bring up the stats in game then click a player's name and you will see some info like their squad and a button to report them.

Do you guys still have a Report button in world chat? I see it, but clicking on it doesn't do anything.

I believe that the "reporting" notification upon respawn happens when you take a "late hit" after being shot down. If you don't let the bar get to 100% before you take off it will be like you've already taken one hit. It is the same "reporting" notification that shows up when you land to reload.

As hammer-tool said you can report someone from the in game stats screen by clicking on their name. Unfortunately after making a report, I usually have to exit the game to close the keyboard because the keyboard on my kindle fire HD covers the buttons.

I lost that in the last update. it used to be there. Now I can only get player info
