First & foremost, it's the only game that I seem to get put into. I try for 5 minutes to get into a different game but it keeps putting me back into that same game. Secondly, how the hell would a single pilot capture an entire aircraft carrier? Who does he got with him? Megatron? Thirdly, there was only one aircraft carrier in existence in WWI, the HMS Argus, which was owned by England.
There were a few carriers by the end of the war, but I think the only operational one was Furious. Argus and Vindictive were around shortly afterwards.
I don't mind CTC, as it can get quite strategic. You can get big dogfights forming, as one side tries to get at the landed aircraft and the other side tries to stop them, which for all the historical inaccuracies in the basis of the game, was rather how it was on the Western Front c.1917-18. It would be nice if the carriers were a more WW1 design, but it's not a big deal for me. We have Ww2 panzers, after all. And parachutes.
It does seem to exacerbate uneven teams though, as even one spare aircraft can make all the difference. It's probably better with a lot of people playing.
