I have earned 3,700 points and I went to buy this plane and it was stuck on "buying" for over 5 minutes... So I closed the app and restarted it and now the word "buying" is gone and it won't let me select this plane. The buy option worked great and flawless for the Red Baron plane but this one is stuck. PLEASE HELP!!!

Looks like you don't have enough money now. Check to see if you were emailed a receipt for that ( failed) purchase, if so there may be a link on it to respond to echoboom apps, where you could ask for help

I know that this will sound bad, but instead of trying to recover the 3,700 points from Echoboom, just keep playing, and in no time you will earn way more points.
If it serves as a "consolation", when I reached level 11 (months ago), I bought (with real money, via credit card) the points needed to acquire all the best planes and features (extra max-speed, maneuver, armaments), but after geting them, I noticed that my virtual account turned on a negative one (-75,000). I needed to play MONTHS to reach zero again, to go "positive".
So, not a big deal, I asure you: in no time, you will have many more points to buy the best planes.
Oh, and if you can, buy credits - it will help the developers to improve this game - and to survive.

Some planes require you to be of a certain rank in order to use them. Not sure if this applies to you in this case, but might be the source of the problem.

iirc the "LOCKED" stamp over the plane vanishes once you have enough money to buy it but i will not let you buy the plane if you havent ranked up to that point. but you should get a message like.....rank of XXX reguired.
