i have played other air war games where there was some sort of capture scenario. in the one i played most it was an airfield capture. when you landed and came to a complete stop a timer started counting down from 45 to 0. you had to sit there and hope to live without someone strafing or bombing you. when the timer reached 0 it told you that you either captured or neutralized the airfield. so i land on a carrier last night and see a timer. i figure its the same deal...until i see a warning message something like "YOU ARE CAMPING..TAKE OFF". i asked in the game and someone said watch my timer but didnt tell at what point to take off. how far do i let the timer run down to...or do i watch one of those blue/white/red bars at the top of my screen?
stuff like this should be on a sticky...lol

For Capture the Carrier it is more of a time of possesion type game. You are only allowed to sit for so long and while you are on it the possesion indicator moves towards the blue. Get both in the blue and you win. You should usually sit until about 20 seconds or so...take off then land again.
