I have re-installed before and no u won't start over again, it keeps ur information as long as u use ur old account.
Tho when u start off it will only let u choose the first plane and once ur in the game u auto get promoted back to ur rank + ur planes u bought will reappear in ur next game.

I shut down my ipad then turn on it back . My acc ok now.it help . If ur multiplayer game say error connection 2 times after it say 3 times ur acc wil not found.
