I am sure you are aware and on top of it already but for a few weeks now there has been a suffering in gameplay due to poor connetions. I thought it was my wifi even though on fibre optic. However spaking to many other members they all seem to suffer the same. Are you able to give us a update to rectify the issue?

Thank you.i was thinking my connection too ive been swaping routers over and re installing multiple times.Im taking so many beatings latley.its so jittery,up to 10 hits to take out a tank and 3-4 to down a plane.
Still no bullet holes in screen either.Planes are warping about the sky,its pot luck out there.
I can only imagine what a newcomer would think if they played,put it this way i dont think they'll buy it.
Now i wouldnt wanna put a bet on it but the server needs a shake up.

I have reported elsewhere some of the same issues -

I know I am in for a good beating when I start a game and some planes get erratic - in one case, jumping forward and them back, then forward.

The position data is sent using UDP packets - no reliability built in, can and do arrive out of order with varying delays and also get dropped. I suspect this is the main culprit - it explains the jumping and erratic planes, also how some almost seem immune. What you see is not where they are. I suspect based on some of my own observations that it is more related to the upload link, especially on cell phones using 3G or similar.

I really know I'm in trouble when I can't take out a relatively stationary tank or planes that help me by flying through my line of fire and nothing registers.

While I have done everything from getting fiber cable, new faster routers, watch channel loading, it seems the 'laggers' have the advantage. My improvements seem to make me a better target! (yeah, I'm a little sloppy too)

One day I played in local cafe and it had a somewhat reasonable yet ratty upload speed - the download was much slower and jumpy. Curious, seemed like I couldn't miss and was hard to hit. One of the better games I had.

1. Drop Connections
2. I am hitting an invisible wall ? Flying along when level and bam I crashed..??
3. Entire group of players disappearing, but we still chat and bomb un-apposed.
4. I shoot a tank 3 times and it is destroyed. The next I shoot 10 times and nothing.. Lag on that one ?
5. I am being shot down on the Runway by a player who was shot down 4 miles away.??
6. Bomb Button now, does not always release the bomb.. Flew over hangers 5 times
before bomb finally released

What next?

I am also have trouble with the forum. when I post I get error message and my key borard has a mind of its Owen.

Hi Shei, #5 is lag, he was shooting you while you were getting shot down and his hits didn't register until you respawned. If your quick enough and hit brake you might survive 1 out of 100 of those. I have quit trying as I'm just to slow/old .
#2 might be an attempt at "Fog of War"?
I can see random bomb malfunctions as a game feature. If it only happened very seldom and only on first pass.

god I hate it when u lose conection in a great game or just when ur about to bomb. But I noticed that when I get kicked there is a player that just left from red team idk if this will help.

Yeah, similar problems here. It seems I have to hit a plane 5 times to take it down. In a scenario where one is dancing with a well-skilled player, it's already a big challenge to hit them once. So you can imagine the frustration.

Top that with disappearing planes, a faulty bomb button, and the occasional lost connection, it gets pretty tough to play a good game.

But yes, it's still an awesome game. There are just some bugs that need to be fixed.

thanks luna this explains why my game has gone down hill
na but i have all these problems iam also having to check my settings before every game at the mo,they change from game to game but that might just be my phone being stupid.
iam sporting a nice bump on my temple at the mo with the gymnastics iamhaving to do to play the game

I too have see all the issues mentioned, except the invisible wall I did crash at altitude in no mans land yesterday but assumed a team had run into me. Might be that wall.

My setting get screwy too. I often have to recalibrate between each game.

I have not been shot down via lag but I believe twice yesterday, I got credit for take downs long after passing the opponent. Probably the same thing. In a DF game yesterday I shot one plane 12x, before I was take. Out by another. Hit showed up on screen but they never even started smoking.

I'm not posting to complain, just hoping putting what I've seen out there helps whomever fix it.
