I don't know if anyone else has been experiencing this, but since the beginning of this month I've only been able to play just one game every six minutes. Every time I finish a game, or exit myself, and then go back to join another one, I am forbidden and given an in-game error that says "Error connecting to server. Please try again." I will then be prompted to either subscribe or wait an ENTIRE SIX MINUTES to be able to get into just one match again. This NEVER used to happen and it's seriously getting on my nerves. Now I don't know if this is a bug or what, but it doesn't look like anyone's fixing it anytime soon or that it will be going away anytime soon. I really don't want to have to subscribe in order to actually play an otherwise free game. Like I said before, this never used to happen up until the beginning of this month, just a few weeks ago. Anybody want to chime in?

I'm sorry to say that it is so. Dogfight Elite requires subscription to avoid the timer... something about Zup not being able to subsidize all of us goofing off without some game related income.

I'm not certain but it may be that it is only required once you reach a certain rank, 8th possibly. Since a year's dues are less than the cost of a night out, I went for it... that and I do want to help support this little world that Zup created.

I fully understand the annoyance of the wait, especially when you log in just in time to see "You Lose". I went for a few months without my kindle recognizing my subscription but I just rode it out so I would be less inclined to play so much for a while. It works fine now. If you have any trouble with the timer popping up once you have subscribed be sure to email echoboom . Zup takes care of it pretty quickly.
