This is out of curiosity. We all know that most players come from the US, UK and so on. But I always wondered why there is almost nobody from China (which has a huge mobile players base), South Korea (same thing) or Japan.

Anyone knows? Is google play not there? do they use other mobile stores?

Is it due to translation or who knows what? I mean, what's the logical explanation?

Also, if you have a phone with those keyboards, can you chat? I always wondered if the game works in those languages.

Google is blocked in China, as well as many other things. They have to use creative ways to get around the great firewall of China. However I have seen Chinese playing, but never found out if they were actually in China.

Overall Thailand has slow internet, but not sure why they wouldn't be playing.

Not too sure about other areas of SE Asia.

One of the other games I play Zup is Chinese owned and I play on Apple platform . The amount of Chinese players is huge . The game separates the platforms but I know the Chinese , Koreans and Japanese as well as many other Asian country's make up a significant number of players . Can't see any reason why they don't play DF . Could it be lack of advertisement of the game ? I know I originally got the game off Facebook.

I had to buy a new phone with a Japanese cell service provider (iPhone). When I search "dogfight" on the App Store, Dogfight is the 2nd search result (NOT DF Elite).

I had a player name JapanKlus, he plays, DF but have not seen him in Elite. Triple Taps and Cobra were from that side of the world. Have seen a couple of players from Thailand. And I remember there was a player from Korea, but can’t remember the name. But it thinks it’s true what CC says, I believe its advertising. A Dogfight Elite Facebook fan page would help us all promote the game with pictures, and connecting other friends. Its Free advertising with a huge global connection and with the help of all your base players; that it is very international it will be a AWESOME SAUCE!

Mom has an active Japanese player. Although she's not on the forum much. But I know what you mean ZUP there's not much of a presence at all I've often wondered the same thing

Ok Zup , most of my Apps are downloaded from my normal App Store . However when I want a banking app from Indonesia where I am currently living , I have to change to a different App Store because my Normal App Store does not have it . So I went into another store and they don't seem to have DF elite in that store . Most of my banking apps will ask me to change store to retrieve app . But I look for a lot of these apps n google so this may explain why the Chinese can't access it . Not sure how right I am but may be worth checking into . I notice over here in Indonesia there is a very large proportion of the population using Apple .
