Hey zup, I just want to say that most of all I talk to like the game as it stands

Since I play a lot I can say that there are many games where you have reds and the fight is on, many games we have to fight to win

However there are times that we don't want to fight, just fly and relax with our friends. There are times when everyone is blue and times that many games will be a fight.

I know that you will never make everyone happy, never never never however I think the majority like this the way it is, we had a lot of fun today and was relaxing

I don't know how serious you are in changing things I'm just saying it's great the way it is.

I'm old lol lol and enjoy the periods of time I can relax and fly.

Thanks

Something to consider. You mostly see the German side stacked in the majority. I think it is because of the zep game which always has Allied protecting and German attacking. The German side can potentially get more points.
What if you had alternating zeps. Switch it up and let the Allied side attack the zep.

Or let each side have a zep to protect, that could get interesting. It might also help with the continuous stacked german team.

Had a great game last night in WW2 with 4 on 4.

I do like being able to switch and join up with squad members. I hope you give that some more thought before making a change.

I am sorry Gaw, but this is not the case in all type of games at WW2 games. Zup himself has corroborate this. (not exclusive to zep games)
Again the sad thing is; I do not see any player saying, OK we will switch sides and play fair games when we see this kind of behavior happened. I get that you are all teammates and want to stay and play together, but I have extended the courtesy of leaving a game when ask to switch because a player is outnumber, but that same courtesy is not granted to me and others when I have asked it. I think the only way to maintain this great advantage of choosing sides is to persuade and show zuperman that we all stop the abuse use of it and demonstrate that we will switch sides when we see unfair or outnumber games.

I realize that not all games are tilted like the zep game, but players tend to stay on the German side in anticipation that the next game may be a zep game. I still like the idea of both teams having a zep to attack/defend.
I for one will be trying to even games by switching or leaving the game if that is the only alternative.

Oh, by the way that was an interesting move you pulled on the carrier. Did you know that the foot soldier would be invisible?

Lighten up Doggy.

The soldier moves on ship I learn from watching another player do it. As the problem of not being visible it is strange, in some games I do see it walking on ship and I have shoot them from my plane in others I do not see them until I land and get off my plane 2. It is strange do not know if it’s a platform problem. Buy the way I was outnumber in that game too, and was my only way of staying alive. LOL always fun to kill u but would love u more if you are going to change sides to help me and others from now on.

* Zep games are worth lots of points to either side. If you stick around and successfully defend the allied side gets all of the "leftover" points. If an engine is still intact it can be near 3000 points + the points for shooting all of the red planes. It has been that way for a long time.

* A "practice room" would be great. Many circus sessions or tank races have been spoiled by someone who spawns in and either doesn't understand or doesn't care what everyone else is up to. Exploring, tanking, hiking, barnstorming is a lot of fun but I've seen people go ballistic because someone who is just playing the game is spoiling the fun. Having one squad try to take over a server by telling everyone else they have to leave often doesn't go smoothly.

Here is my take and I this coming from a player that don't care if he wins or loses..don't try to over fix it..as soon as lower players have enough to buy a ww2 plane the games will fill both sides and problem will fix itself. Can't blame people for wanting to fly a certain side. I do it because my German plane is fully upgraded and central one is not until I save enough coin to accomplish this..much like ww1 players are saving for a ww2 planes. Wonder why experienced players catch hell for playing ww1 ? Because it's full of guys and gals just starting and learning the game and will quit playing it if there not somewhat succesfull now and then. Ww2 caters more to the experienced player with the lure and advantage of double points..not that there faster or manuver better because they don't. My point is to let the game evolve and grow before becoming progressive for change. There will come a time when that's necessary. But even a tree must break the surface before you fertilize it..

Wow Zup, that's a pretty elegant way of handling it. Maybe now we'll see point mongers switching to the empty side!

Although... it may make trouble for some of the missions. In a CTF, there can be a minute or two where the game is "over" but the flag carrier hasn't landed yet... what if the losing side all leaves? The winners points will all be "discounted". It could be similar for Zep and CTC games.

You might need to make something so losers don't leave right before the game ends just so they can spite the winners. Something like only giving half of the earned points for leaving early? But then that has it's own set of problems. :S

Edit: I just read your response to this issue on the other thread. Gj Zup!

That would work up to a point. You got a few folks that just set on the runway while you do all the work. 2 vs. 2 really ends up 2 vs. 1

I just came out of a couple of games with extrem bloodshed, violence and parachutes, it was great and fun. Now a easy game would be nice, it would give me a chance to catch up on my breathing, lower heart rate, re adjust my depends, clean my glasses and potty the dog.

It's fun the way it is.

I agree it is quite elegant. Wonderful solution zup, way to think outside the box. Go ahead and go 8v1 you get no points reds :)
