You know what angers me the most?... well when I am left to die to join a squad mates team... why the heck would you frickin' leave me to die while you go play patty-cake with your squad mate?!?!? If I either spawn in 2v1 or 2v8million I'll frickin' stay by your side to the very end no matter the costs, win or lose and I would think the least others can show the same courtesy. I know Zup made this game to choose but I don't care, dear lord please stay with the guy whose getting his ass kicked for or with you! In my mind the worst possible thing a player can do is leave someone ALONE and choose to switch teams, like what goes through the frickin' mind??? Damn, maybe I'm old fashioned and in the Dogfight 1 mentality but maybe I'll come back in a few weeks to see what's happening. Please don't just fly for your squad mates, fly for everybody!

Gonna be a lot more of that now due to squad wars , killing squad mates don't get you points.

killing squad mates gives you points... if they are your enemy
what it doesn't do is add on the squadron vs squadron stats, obviously killing your own squad member won't improve your rankings in there

but they are two very different things. Your points in game vs your stats in the squadron. And killing your squad mate when it's your enemy also adds points to the squadron vault. So basically, it pays off to kill your enemy.

Actually Jerry I miss the days when I could battle 7 enemy reds versus just me.. especially in the capture the carrier missions.. I could put up a determined defense until many, if not most the reds would get bummed and quit and eventually I would get a teammate to give me a chance to win.. (note: This was much easier to accomplish being German rather than Allied, as when the Allied carrier hit the far North of its run they could swarm it if I crashed or was shot down and win before I could get back to it to clean it out of all its cockroaches lol!)

The evening of sides is one of the changes I wish zuperman didn't make...

So why does it not add to the squadron vs squadron stats? Just trying to understand the logic?

When two members of the same squad are on opposite sides in-game, kills between them Don't add to the squad rank. They do add to the players personal stats, bank, and squad vault. (that's how I understand it)

If you are on the same squad and you kill each other how could it count for squad stats? It basically cancels each other because you would get one kill and one death at the same time. It is like killing yourself and wanting points

There you go. What I did not know (or remember) is that if you get shot, you lose points. If that is indeed the case, then your explanation makes sense. But only if you actually lose points for getting shot. Do you really lose points for you team in squad war totals if you get shot????? I do not remember hearing that.

I get the feeling that no points are given or taken when squad members shoot one another, but you don't really lose points when you get shot down by an opposing player. They get points, you get to take off again.

Let's clear that up before going any further. I await your reply.
