Banners are fun, and one day I intend to make my own,
but the forums getting overloaded with them.

Having to scroll through a forest of images to find and read all the one line comments in a thread is a bit much.
Zuperman must be swearing under his breath every time he combs through for useful comments amongst all the junk.

I'd like to suggest we restrict ourselves to ONE banner at a time each.
(Don't be greedy, we've all seen your images a thousand times before anyway.)

i'm not sure how people get so many banners in their sig lines - i tried to ad >one< more to my own after squad wars banners were dished out, and my sig doesn't have enough space for the link. 8/

One of my banners has all my awards, shows patches from the different wings, contains my title, and was made by Myrlin. (Its kind of like a history of Wolf Pack) A second banner was crafted for me by HB, and I display it to signify our alliance with GI. The third and final banner was made by our very own Dera8, and I display it as a show of unity within our squad.

I wont make excuses for my three banners, nor will I delete them so someone doesn't have to scroll through them.

My .02 If it sounds like I am being a jerk, that is unintentional. I am just relaying my point of view on banners by explaining why I have 3 posted and their significance to me.

It was just a suggestion, because some of the longer threads with quotes of quotes get cluttered, no big deal.
If you want one banner for every year of your life, have one banner for every year of your life.

I can see where your coming from Gannet. But I and many others really enjoy the art work and variety of all the Banners out there. From Ace Girls amazing ability to capture a topic that starts of negative and confrontational, and completely doing a 180 degree turn with it. Using her satirical sense of humour and computer skills and creating hilarious story like banners. Roy's constant banner innovations and contribution to so many new pilots. Making them feel like there part of the community. Whiplashes amazing action banners that are like short films. And all the young guns that are now trying there own hand at banner making. That said Roy came up with a way to make your banners like a slide show. There buy using only the space required for one banner and scrolling through the person other banners. We could have a good compromise here
