When the new and improved df elite came out, I was under the understanding that the playing field would be leveled out with no advantages to the pc users like in df1. In elite, I see pc users doing this flipy crap that would defy all laws of physics in the real world. Wasnt elite suppose be more realistic?
Obviously that part has been compromised. If parts of the new game are going to go away, just bring back df1.

I am seeing the same thing, when I first started playing Elite, I could keep up with most other planes. Actually, I think I was faster than many. I am on an ipad.
Now, not so much. I get dusted by many. Its like I don't have a chance in a turn fight.
I drop my bombs and still get dusted in a turn fight by an opponent carrying two (count them two bombs).
I am not an accomplished turn fighter, but something is wrong here.
It is frustrating to say the least.
I don't know what platform has the advantage but the playing field is not level.

Yep, since the last Apple update my plane flies like a brick, and turns like molasses.

Everyone up, I felt like I was really doing good and had a chance against some of the higher ranked pilots as I
love the turn fighting, the only reason I really play, and since all the complaints from the of pc crowd who no longer had the advantage the playing field supposedly has been leveled but I feel like I have been leveled down to newb skill level.

I don't know what platform it is, but my pc is a flying brick all of a sudden too. Not just a brick, but it really flies like some kind of balloon or something, hard to explain. PC went from very bad, to best, back to very bad. When pc is bad, I see the same flippy crap Walleye mentioned.... its a weird 180 turn that has almost zero radius, from the tilt guys. Either that or ill be on a players six, and within a turn and a half "you were brought down by other device" and off to the blue base I go. I say "tilt guys" generally, they just aren't pc and could be apple, android, tablet, phone, or whatnot.

Someday it may be even amongst the various platforms, but we certainly aren't there yet.

Viper, I am PC as well and played last night and experienced this weird balloon drifting thing. I was in Zep game--the other player on my team became frozen in clouds. I shot down both engines and nothing--it was an alternate universe.

The balloon drift is insane and if I try and chat in game it's near impossible to regain control.

That's odd. I'm on Apple (which continues to get updated last and hasn't been updated because Zup refuses to BRING ME JOBS SKULL!), and I'm still turning slow as can be. Noticed a few of the floppy players, but they're usually in one of the Spanish squads and never respond about device (not trying to start anything here, just mentioning what I see.) I can't imagine the difficulties in making cross platform games that happen in real time. As far as I know this is the only one. For a while, it was GREAT to be on an Apple device. Which, to be honest, is the first time I think I've ever said that in this game. Now we're here. I wonder what will happen when the update comes to Apple devices? Could be good, could be bad, I have no idea. I'll continue to play because I enjoy the game and don't really care if I get shot down by a better device or even credit card aces. I'll submit to Zup what I see as messed up in the game (without insulting his mother. Who the eff does that?!) and he'll work his butt off to do another update which may favor PC, Apple, Android... whatever, and I'll move on, still playing the game when I can because I enjoy it.

Actually that would explain the weird balloon effect. If the response to pressing the arrow keys is no longer instant, then releasing the key is no longer instant, and the aircraft continues for a very noticeable way before it responds to input.

I know some folks wont get it, but most of us will. When the controls change dramatically it really is like learning the game all over again.

Exactly, Im PC as well, and last night plane flight was very float and boat feeling. Like rolling waves. Not reactive to sharp turns. It was much more easy to zero in a head on attack but very lazy in turn fight. I most deffinately could not compete in a turn fight. But I was pleased with the ability to micro adjust aim on head to head with keyboard controls

I hit 'about' and have the latest update. Not sure what is up, but it's float effect with poor turn. I was still able to bring down some good players--those ole bully Misfits, they are always great red or blue.

remember the video u guys were working on to send zup about PC vs I Pads, well just realized that I had not done the update and that is why I was able to out turn, Doggy, BlueFigther, Viper, Wally and Gaw.

I just found the update, and as you all know I FEAR THE UPDATES!!! But oh well I said I should do it because maybe that is why people are getting mad when I play them. So there I did it and …. now I can’t even out turn a SNAIL!!!!!

So the video u sent zup is not accurate well at least the starting role of the video, that would be my part! So yes to all PC Players the update is not good at all, plane is slow like the cow tank, can’t control it, can’t aim properly, and it makes me dizzy when I play it. So I guess we are all equal now!!!! LOL

I think is back to the drawing board Zup, hope u can figure it out eventually.

my platform is Win 10 PC. after reading some of these comments, i decided to check my settings screen - and found a sensitivity bar! however even after adjusting it, i am finding many of the issues described here.

i think the best way to describe the change is, there is a sluggish reaction to some controls. turning left or right, i snap to as soon as i let off the stick. pulling up or down, sometimes after i let off the stick i continue to drift for a moment. turning and diving or climbing at the same time, you get some of the "drifting" - your plane doesnt realise you've let off the controls for a moment, like it is tired or drunk.

it is not unmanageable, but is WAY less precise than the controls have been to date. if that is somehow intended, i could get used to it, but it is definately strange.

Was playing last night and it felt like my old plane was back but I kept getting kicked from games

You were making me feel pretty inadequate. I had no bombs and you could out turn me with two. I could not believe it when you smoked me in a turn fight and then drop your two bombs on hangers. I was really hoping that you only had one. Nope, you had them both.

Saw the sensitivity control thingy and… if I move it to the right all blue, the plane reacts exactly the same way if I move it to the left side, there is no difference. Still slow space like feel, the tank moves or goes faster than the plane. Is it not working?? I am a Win PC player.

found it as keys pc/laptop player.....plane pretty much uncontrollable

flies like a lead weight....no manoeuvrability what so ever.....cudnt even get my plane to turn out the way off the zep.....

totally pointless tryin turn fight ...ave no chance not just against lot planes...but can not pull off any air combat manoeuvre without ending up plowin in2 the ground due to lack off plane sensitivity wen it comes to manouvres ...

Did you adjust the sensitivity? I suspect that is your issue.

yes maxed the sensitivity bar...made no difference what so ever.....

Ya i maxed sensitivity bar 2 days ago also. If mobil is going to keep in pace with pc need strafe control, button-slider-swipe, something.

I got a Lenovo tablet used it the first time today my planes (all) of them seem like they had a load of shit in them had no speed turning was a joke even with no bombs and still was shot down df elite has a lot of problems but I hope all can get them straighten out or just bring back df1 with a few changes in it before he loses a lot of players might happen n again it may not hope it dont that's what I think

Hey onekill2 try adjusting pointer speed and turn sensitivity all the way up. Thats what i did and I have Samsung S2 tablet 9.7 and way better. Hope it helps.
